I was about five months in seriously searching for a house. I had been through four agents by this time and was ready to give up and just find a rental. I contacted Zillow to get help finding someone. I was connected with this super aggressive person who told me that she would show me any houses until I met with her at her office so that she could determine how serious I was about buying and my financial ability. This was after I told her that I've been pre-approved and just need someone to show houses. This wasn't my first dance, but she was set on her policies. So that was it. I was done with this, so I started looking for rentals. My wonderful daughter, with her 16 years of wisdom, convinced me to give it another try. "Nothing has ever been easy for us" she said, "but we don't give up because something is hard. " Guess where she learned that! Anyway, I called Zillow again and was connected with Phil. He asked me about my experience so far and actually listened. He was great from the start! Within an hour of meeting him, I had listings in my price range in my desired area. By about four that afternoon, I had appointments for two homes I wanted to see that night. Within a few hours of meeting him, I made an offer. The next day, kept me updated on the progress. I didn't have to wonder about anything because he checked in with me periodically. By ten that night, I learned that my offer was accepted! After five months, this guy waltzes into my life and accomplished in about a day and a half what five other agents couldn't in just as many months. I'm sitting here in my new home because of Phil. Phil was our agent when my husband and I bought our first home last month. He was amazing throughout this whole process, starting like 2-3 years ago when we first started thinking about buying. Even though our original plans were put on hold, he was still really accessible through the whole process, and was always very upfront about what we could expect in terms of the market, housing stock, etc. When we finally decided to move forward this fall, the whole process went really smoothly.
