Philly By Segway, Philadelphia PA

By far the funnest tour in Philly! We had a blast! Sarg was a great guide with many interesting stories! He made sure we saw all the best sites and had fun along the way!

Pik gave us an awesome Cheesesteak and Segways tour of Philly! He had us try 4 different cheesesteaks, including one of South Philly’s best kept secrets-The Philly Taco. He gave us some cool facts about the city and the history of cheesesteaks, and snapped some cool pictures along the way! We highly recommend, whether you’re a tourist or you live in Philly, it was a ton of fun, and the cheesesteaks were delicious!

Omg! This was so fun. I was a little nervous at first, but Pik made sure we felt safe and had a great time! The cheesecakes were hot and ready at each stop. Nothing but laughs and a great time. Ask for Pik, try the steak taco, get the “gremlin”, and have fun!

What a great and comprehensive experience. The attention to detail and safety was amazing. It was my first time on a Segway and by the time to ride I felt like operating the vehicle was second nature. The chosen cheesesteak spots were awesome. Great way to see a nice chunk of the city while eating and having a great time. Deshon and Pik were really awesome throughout the whole experience. Thank you.

This was a fun and informative tour with plenty of food. Pik was a great tour guide that kept our interest with tons of fun information. Confidence driving these things builds quickly but pay attention at all times as bumps can be unnerving and throw you off your game. This tour gets an A but for constructive criticism the helmets are a bit ratchet and the audio system was pretty bad and not everyone’s worked thru the entire ride.

What an amazing way to see so much of Philadelphia. Our guide, Sarge, was fantastic. Consistently provided information about the surrounding buildings and history. Segway riding itself was awesome, too. This was my first time riding a Segway and I will definitely do it again. I was debating on doing this tour or the "Hop on Hop Off" bus tour and I am thrilled that I did this. I saw so much of the city up close and learned so much from Sarge. Thanks for Philly cheese steak recommendations, too!

We had a great time on our Cheesesteak Segway Tour with Pik! He was safety oriented, knowledgeable, lighthearted and fun. He told lots of interesting stories about the city and cheese steaks. We were eating our first cheesesteak within 20 minutes and he finished the tour with a unique experience - the Philly Taco! Thank you, Pik!

Our hours of preparation were busted when we arrived at the Philly by Segway location to rent e-bikes. The doors were locked and nobody answered the telephone. Nothing was stated on their website or email correspondence about an e-bike rental reservation being required so we assumed walk-ins were acceptable. Our tip is to prepare a e-bike rental backup plan to not stress out, like we did, quickly searching for alternative transportation on our last vacation day in Philly.

The Philadelphia Segway Tour is truly an amazing experience. First you get a briefing on how to drive a Segway. Then Mike trains with each one to get the feel of a Segway. Mike (our tour guide) did a great job. Small exercises at the start so that everyone feels comfortable on the Segway. Then the tour started with Mike. Mike starts everything easy and very friendly. You get to see everything important in Philadelphia and there are enough breaks too.
It was a great experience and Mike is a great guide. He took pictures of everyone and sent them to us later. Would recommend to anyone.

Philly by Segway is a phenomenal tour! All the tour guides we super friendly when we arrived. First up is a training video, and then you practice on the segway with your tour guide. My groups tour guide was D, the manager. We booked through Viator, and due to a mistake on aviator’s end the tour became overbooked. The staff was very accommodating, and was able to make arrangements so we could still tour on the original day and time we booked!
D is awesome! He was kind, fun and very knowledgeable. We learned so much Philadelphia history and felt safe every step of the way. Be prepared to eat a lot of Philly cheesesteaks!

We had an amazing experience on the Philly Cheesesteak tour with D as our tour guide! He was so knowledgeable, witty and down to earth. He was also great at giving us instructions to keep us safe on the segways and talk us so much about the history of Philadelphia. I would recommend this tour to anyone new to Philly or even Philly natives- it was SO much fun!
