The employee a large white man was rude and trite. He immediately asked if I read their website and did not take my resume, but informed me I would have to fax my resume. He asked about my experience and became irritated with my response. The employee ushered me out door with a small strip of paper. I would not recommend this staffing agency. The lack professionalism most likely extends to the companies Philly Temps services.

It was a struggle finding a job on my own; for over 6 months I was filling out applications / writing cover letters / taking tests and performing 3-part interviews with no luck.
I'm grateful to have decided to become a temp and have the agency do the work for me - because it has paid off with a permanent position in my company!

I went in for an interview and they gave me some strange test that I easily past. Even if the questions asked the pi route squared divided into several baking pans to get a certain shape. Something outrageous like that. Told me I easily passed the test to get placed for work and all my references were great. However every time I called them they didn’t respond and then left a message the night before for an assignment that I didn’t even get. I’m not sure if they are a real job placement company or just trying to get a copy of your resume.

I did convention center and university move in work, satisfied with the jobs. There isn't always work available, but the assignments are great for someone entry-level.

I got hired with Philly Temps over the summer and was only presented with three work assignments, one per month. They had more job postings on their website but nothing new came up for the whole summer. I do not think they have a lot of assignments but use those to attract potential employees. The overall company was nice and the people were also nice.

When I called there and the receptionist was very rude. I was taken by surprise by his behavior. I told him never mind and I will be reporting this company.

They got me a great job in just one week. I've worked with several temp agencies and Philly Temps has for sure been the friendliest and most responsive. Everyone there is great!

Alexa is an extremely helpful person, both personally and professionally. By far the most understanding, friendly employer/temp agency I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. If you're in need of a job, and are willing to work, and have some worthwhile credentials, then this is the place for you!

The staff at Philly temps are great! The assignments are always local and the pay is pretty good. They have carpools available for those who do not drive and the hours are usually not too late (2am -). I would recommend them to anyone in the food service/catering industry who is looking for part time work at reputable companies in the Philadelphia area.

Phone representative was very rude and spoke with a condescending tone. I would not recommend using this agency.

Philly Temps is the reason I currently hold a full time position at my current company. During a time when it was very hard to gain employment philly temps hired me and sent me on many assignments that fit my personality. I love the management and staffing team so much so that I still work different events on my weekends off!

Alexa Bogan (Staffing manager) provided absolute terrible services. Do not have the resources they 'claim' to have, as you'll rarely be interviewed for actual positions.

Be cautious when choosing this particular staffing agency.

If I could recommend anything to the job hunters out there, make sure your resume and cover letter is proofread. Most times, people won't take you seriously if you don't represent yourself in a well manner. Take the time to make it perfect so that Philly Temps can take the time to find you something perfect!

What a great experience. I was nervous as it was my first experience with a temp agency but they made me feel so comfortable. Christine, the owner is so genuine and was truly in touch with what I was looking for. My account rep Angie was very professional and caring. They listened to me and truly cared. Started out catering, then applied for an Administrative position. Stayed at that position for 9 months until the company hired me. I love my new job and have Philly Temps to thank! Will be returning shortly for more part time catering work!

This place is by far the worst! How on earth did they even get past two stars? They never have any assignments when I call and they always put misleading ads on craigslist posting Data Entry and Administrative Assistant jobs open just so they can get you to apply, They don't have any of these jobs, they mislead you! Also no direct deposit option, but paper checks. What business establishment doesn't have direct deposit option in 2014? Like really? Ugh! They suck!

Despite walking in daily and calling daily, this extremely poorly run company lies and slacks saying there's no jobs when you call- but if you show up they are placing people on assignments. Save your time. This one is one of the worst in the city- dont bother
