Philmont Country Club, N/A PA

Went to an event at Philmont Country Club in Aug. Was offered an opportunity to come back and play Philmont & White Manor. Have tried contacting the GM, Chris Wegner, about a dozen times and he has not returned a call. Reading their reviews, seems to be typical. I'll keep looking for a new club.

Went to the Philmont Country Club for a funeral luncheon, I had the salmon. It was so good I almost asked for a second. The service was second and on and they should be very proud of their staff

Really nice place. Pretty Elegant and the service there is great. They just treat you with the utmost respect there.

Fantastic venue! Everything was beautiful and elegant. The staff is courteous and quick. The outside space is just as beautiful as the inside. This venue would be the perfect backdrop for any event!

This is my 6th year hosting my event at Philmont and every year just gets better and better! The staff is exceptional and goes above and beyond to accommodate each and every request. Ariel has made this process so seamless and easy in every way! Can’t wait to book again next year.

This is my 3rd event at my second home, Philmont Country Club and again, they did not disappoint. Staff is always accommodating and allows the event to be exactly what you set out to make it. Ariel, the director, Helen and her staff were fantastic and the food was delicious. We are very particular how we see the event set up and how we expect the day to go. Thank you for making my daughter's graduation day a Success! Another memorable day for the Johnson Family!

We had our son’s Bar Mitzvah this past weekend and it was a home run! Ariel was so easy to work with and very accommodating! We were so happy with all of the food, the amenities and the staff were approachable. Highly recommend for future Mitzvah’s!

My granddaughter's Bat Mitzvah was held at Philmont Country Club on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in May. From my initial contact to the day of the event, everything went exceptionally well. My contact person, Ariel, was extremely helpful, courteous, and professional with every interaction. She helped to make this wonderful time a day we will always remember. The food was delicious, the room looked beautiful, and all of our special requests were facilitated with ease by Ariel. The wait staff the day of the affair worked very hard to serve in a timely manner. I highly recommend enjoying your special day at Philmont, and especially recommend Ariel to make your day memorable.

We had our wedding here and everything was perfect! Ariel was our coordinator and she was incredibly helpful every step of the way, including answering my tons of questions and also offering ways to make the day easier and better for us. The food was delicious and came out the way it was at our food tasting. They even offered us golf carts to take onto the course for photographs, even though it ended up pouring the day of. I can’t recommend this place for weddings enough!

My bridal shower was at this country club last night. My point of contact was Sarah and Ariel. The day I booked this hall for my event we agreed that I would be bringing my own food. They did not provide us with any presentable plates to put our pastries in and anything we were asking for they would respond, "this was not included in your contract. " They were of no help throughout the entire process and they were not friendly at all. We agreed on pitchers of water and soda which was also not provided so we had cans of soda on tables. The waitresses did not refill the water throughout the four hour event and we also asked for all woman waitresses due to this event being an all women party for religious reasons. The morning of the party Ariel emailed me and notified me that she would not be accommodating all women waitresses as requested. I also asked for a bridal suite so that my family and I could get dressed after setting up which also wasn't provided as agreed. Ariel ended up giving me a room and bathroom that were both not clean for us to use. During the last hour of my event, the coordinator and waitresses were waiting by the dance floor which made everyone feel like it was time to leave even though there was an hour left to my party. This has been the worst experience and I would not recommend this place to friends and family for any event.

So, with death comes a post funeral lunch. Have to give Philmont Country Club kudos for organizing a very good lunch with 72 hours notice. Good service. A little run down around the perimeter. Difficult to find the exit.

A beautiful country club. Of course if you have bad nerves like I do, the narrow dark roads with very scary. I couldn't see a thing with no lights and when people's high beams were on it was too much light. We had a beautiful time amongst friends and family. A beautiful place for any occasion.

We set up for a 75th Birthday for a client and her family. The Philmont Country Club staff was amazing very friendly and nice we would recommend this place to anyone who is having an event
