Pho Saigon reviews
18Very clean, great service and the food was fresh and delicious! Looking forward to going back soon!
Wow this place is amazing! I've eaten the Pho and several of the broken rice meals (beef, pork, chicken). And all of it is superbly tasty. Same with their iced coffee - though it's very very sweet, it is so so good. I've always been sat immediately, am seated with a menu, and the second I close the menu somebody is over to take my order. Furthermore, the food comes out FAST - the Pho especially. All in all, such a great experience every time.
It is near a Pep Boys, so when I've gotten car work there, I've come to this restaurant. But WARNING: do not go to that Pep Boys (I've written a separate review on my latest experience there).
This place is legit. Unlike some in Chinatown or on Oregon Ave, there's a parking lot. Have not had bad service ever and I have been going for years. They once got my takeout order wrong, made it correctly, and told me to keep the food that wasn't correct. I tipped very well that time.
Me and my boyfriend got pho and broken rice with pork chops. The items on the menu are all more expensive than similar restaurants around the neighborhood. The pho I received barely had any noodles but tasted pretty good. The rice and pork chops were actually really delicious and tender. We were enjoying our meal until a roach literally ran across our table. We called a waiter over and he ran over and killed it. And just apologized. But my boyfriend and I could barely eat in peace after that. We quickly left after that. I know a lot of restaurants have an issue with some bugs and mice but if the roaches are running across the tables during the meals, it’s gotta be pretty bad. How does anyone even wanna continue eating after that? So for an overpriced, roach infested, average tasting pho place I give it a 1.
Man I was so excited to try Pho Saigon but was so disappointed.the only vegan option was vegetable rolls and the vegetable pho only had the option of beef or pork broth so who is the vegetable pho for? I eat a lot of vietnamese food and I haven’t had issues with getting a vegetarian pho option until coming here.please add a vegetarian pho option and i’ll happily be back.
Excellent choice for Vietnamese. Definitely a little pricier than the average Philly Vietnamese restaurant, but in my opinion this is fully justified by the quality of the food. My husband and I had the pho with rare steak + tripe and the BBQ chicken rice platter, and we were thoroughly impressed with both dishes. Our food came out quickly and our waters were kept well filled. Overall very pleased with the experience.
Kinda expensive but definitely worth it I've gotten used to fairly mediocre pho which is flavored more by the rice noodle discharge than the actual broth, but this was definitely excellent. Get the large pho tai and you won't be disappointed!
They have a very good broth, definitely above average. Problem is the brutal uninformed, non-responsive impersonal service. No water brought even though we asked twice. No serving spoon to serve large bowl of soup to table. No plates either.had to use the serving plates to distribute to our table. It's not very clean either. They clearly don't care or understand.
Best Vietnamese food by far. Kinda expensive but definitely worth it and its fresh. I've gotten used to fairly mediocre pho which is flavored more by the rice noodle discharge than the actual broth, but this was definitely excellent.
Best pho I've had in a long time. Kinda expensive but definitely worth it (to me). I've gotten used to fairly mediocre pho which is flavored more by the rice noodle discharge than the actual broth, but this was definitely excellent. Get the large pho tai and you won't be disappointed!
This is one of my favorite pho restaurants in the city for years. I gave pho75 up the street a try and automatically thought of why I didn’t go to pho Saigon because they were absolutely terrible and pho was disgusting. Every time I come here the food is on point and fresh. The workers work very hard and provide great customer service. Their menu is also big/decent. I love this place️
In my opinion, their pho is better than what many Vietnamese eateries in the Philly area—and beyond—serve. They also give you a decent amount:)
We were seated right away and the food didn’t take long to come out, even though it was a relatively busy Sunday afternoon.
This was the last stop of my Philly pho trip and my local friend’s favourite. That beef pho broth was rich with floating beef grease, raw beef is amazing and the summer roll is excellent. Get the iced coffee with jelly; it kept me awake for 6 hours of driving plus another 4 hours of watching more pho videos after i got home
One of the best Vietnamese restaurants in town. I appreciate that they keep their dining area clean. The pho is very good, and they have a wide range of beverages. Their iced French coffee with condensed milk is addicting. My favorite is a mixture of their avocado and pineapple smoothies, but the waiters usually refuse to let me order it. Most recently, the server told me it wouldn’t be good and wouldn’t put in my order. As much as I resent being told they won’t make something I enjoy because it doesn’t go together, this still is one of my de facto lunch spots. If I can’t think of anywhere else to go when taking friends to lunch, I just start driving towards Pho Saigon. Never fails to leave us fat and happy afterwards.
It’s good when it’s good but when it ain’t it just ain’t. I wish it was consistently good but just not the case. A bit disappointing
Good Vietnamese option, an alternative to the Washington street area. Decent noodle and vermicelli dishes. Very fast service, food and drinks came out quickly within 10 minutes for us. We did not try their drink menu, but it appeared that they offer a wide variety of smoothie and balboa drinks.
Everything was priced at a higher price point by a couple of dollars. They used stickers and whiteout to change the prices.
Three stars, for the plain appearance and cleanliness of the place. We wiped our table when we seated down, as it still had some sticky spots left by previous diners.
Quality service very respectful honestly honestly and also quality foods especially when You're craving for a nice cup of coffee call coffee I love the food there Good place for a family to eat and a perfect deal on the food.
Have been coming here for years. Love the pho, and the broken rice pork chops are the best I've ever had. Their coffees are wonderful too. Service is always good - if you need anything, just ask at the counter and they'll take care of you.
