Pileggi on the Square Salon, Philadelphia PA

Pileggi on the Square is amazing! Especially the owner Kevin, who provided me with great service. The receptionist made sure to make me feel welcome as I entered the salon.

Be careful of deposits and pricing. I’ve been seeing a particular stylist here for over 10 years. This has always been a great salon but lately new management has changed policies and the owner tried to upcharge me one day. Basically he was asking me for more money than what was written on the ticket. He didn’t know that I had seen the ticket. When I corrected him, he got all flustered and then charged me the correct price. So who knows how much money he skimmed off the top from other customers that were unaware. Secondly when you make an appointment online now you have to leave a deposit that should be deducted from the ticket at the time of service. I made an appointment and then cancelled but was never given back my deposit. I had to call the owner 3 times before he refunded my money. So if you cancel an appointment online your money will not be automatically refunded. The owner said I should’ve called to change my appointment instead of canceling online. But how can I do that when it’s on a weekend or time that they’re closed and they have a VERY STRICT cancellation policy! Why have an online scheduling system if you can’t use it to change and cancel appointments. One time I went and I forgot to mention the deposit so it was never deducted. Just beware and keep track of your deposits.

Went there a little long time ago. Probably when they first opened. Were the best then and glad to hear they still are.

Broke up with my old hairdresser only to fall in love with a new one! Pileggi is a great salon with wonderful customer service and my favorite stylist. Mark. I've had my hair cut twice with him and it just keeps getting better.

Mark has been my stylist for 20 years, and for good reason. He has done every color possible on my hair and I’ve yet to walk out feeling anything but thrilled. From long hair and extensions to a pixie cut, his attention to detail is immaculate. He’s the only one I completely trust to care for my hair.
