Pilot Travel Center reviews
25I don’t advise taking a shower here, the water is such that when it is just the body we cannot wash it off afterwards
Stopped here on a MegaBus trip to NYC and their restrooms were out of order. They should've made the bus company aware, so they could make other arrangements.
Parking and fuel are an absolute fiasco at Store #298, Drums, PA. If the trucks and military convoys weren't enough; In rolls a Megabus! There's only 3 stalls in the bathroom. No wonder the trash can was full in
Subway. I've seen more trucks make a u-turn and split than fuel. I think we're "0ne-and-Done" at this location.
It was quick, convenient, had a great selection and the staff was awesome, only thing I can think of that is a slight off putting is the entrance if you follow the sign it actually pretty puts you in the area for trucks only. Lol.
Bathrooms and Subway is closed due to pluming, which means no showers. Now I'm sweaty to the next spot.
Altho the staff were very polite the reserved parking spaces (for trucks) NEED to be more conspicuously marked. I pulled into what I thought was a regular parking space & not even an hour later I'm getting a knock on my door telling me I'm in a reserved spot. On my way out I saw a tiny rolling sign (at the end of the row) but there was NO markings in or near the spot I was in
Place is hard to get fuel at. 45 minutes because after the first truck pulled out he had no place to park and blocked us in. Bad setup!
Located about 100 yards off route 80. Get gas, contains a SUBWAY, restrooms, trucker supplies, always very clean.
Failed to block off a fuel pump that someone ripped the slave pump hose off. Didn't realize it until I had started the pump and went around to the passenger side. Wasted 10min of my time and have to wait 2hrs before I can use my card again.
Best it has looked in years. Lots of spinning dogs. Floor was not sticky. Bathroom was fine. Good job.
I'll make sure to NEVER come back here again. For starters they have practically no truck parking. Finally got in a space and went in for a shower. Multiple open doors in the showers but after a half an hour I went to the register to get it cleaned and they just sort of shrugged about the wait and finally meandered over to start cleaning. I get it if you don't want to clean when there isn't anyone there but with three people in line you need to freaking clean the showers!
Good stop, trucker friendly, (showers, refueling, etc.)
Usually very busy and can be hard to get in and out of on the regular vehicle side (lots of megabuses stop here). There's a subway restaurant right next to it as well.
Not enough people at the counter, bathrooms full. Not a pleasant experience. Had to go to another truck stop.
Friendly. Jammed up for trucks though. Limited parking. Never in all our years we had to get a reserved spot. 100 % suggest it after 5pm. Great taco stand within steps. Subway has a pizza restaurant attached, which was good.
It was busy and they had one poor kid for check out the other 2 employees were testing food temps wasting time I believe one was a manager
This business HAVE done some improvement. I like it, very nice. The employees is very professional and respectful. They go above and beyond their duties to insure the customer satisfaction. Keep up the good work you all do. U does it sooo well.
Worse layout of gas pumps ever! Tiny parking lot. Pilots are usually fabulous, but this one isn't. Avoid it if you can!
I don't care what time you go there there is very very limited parking you're going to wait at least 30 minutes to fuel, there is never any coffee or creamer they are always empty the bathrooms are a disaster I would have weighed this place like the plague and I do
The itself is good, BUT NEED TO FIX THE FUEL LINE get drive fuel and park or leave. ALSO move them LAZYASS DRIVERS out of fuel island so other drivers can fuel and leave.the line is always out to the Road.this has been like this for lonngggg time. And it Dangerous if anything should happen, one way in, one way out.so driver if your in a hurry to fuel up don't stop here.
