5Beautiful hike! We were a little late for the fall foliage but there were still some brilliant gold trees in the valley! The lookout is definitely worth seeing!
Great moderate day hike and easy place to park to get there. Great hike with your significant other.
Best hike around Allentown. From Parking it takes 1hr to reach Pulpit point. The hike is a steep climb and serious, give a full body workout. So kids wouldn’t like it.
Amazing hike! Went about 9 miles in about 4 1/2 hours (we stopped a lot). We took the blue blazed trail leading to the reservoir instead of taking the AT loop back to the parking spot. It was a beautiful forest walk with streams of running water. It love to come back to this section of the Appalachian Trail, as it was easier than the Bear Rocks & Knife’s Edge section of the trail that runs past the Pinnacle Lookout point! Watch out for snakes at the Pinnacle Lookout!
Trail is beautiful but they will give a $40 ticket for overnight parking
