Pioneer Diner reviews
14From the minute you step in the staff is quick and attentive. They were quick to take our order. Food came out hot and waitress was very personable. I would have rated them a 5 but we felt a bit rushed after we had eaten our meal as if they wanted to free up the table but there was plenty of open tables.
Food was good, except for the potatoes. The eggs were fresh cooked, potatoes and bacon were just warmed, must have pre-cooked the day before. Yes I would go there again.
This place was so good! I personally ate french toast and eggs, the food was so great! Definitely coming back again.
Although Our table server was very nice and attentive.the host and another server who covered the front as well was very rude to say the least. Very unprofessional and lacks understanding. They both moved very fast, but the diner was empty as if they just didn’t want to deal with anyone. (Weird). I believe they maybe in the wrong position at diner or should try another job that doesn’t involve customer service.
I’ll be checking out another diner and won’t be spending my time or money at this one any longer.
Food was okay. If you are staying at the nearby water parks I would recommend another diner/place. The pancakes were hard to swallow, French toast just looked like a long bun. The bacon was okay.
We live local, and this is our go-to diner, mostly for weekend breakfasts but also the occasional lunch. We know all the staff by name (and they know us, too!). The atmosphere is.well.it's a diner.but it's friendly and comfortable. They recently updated the place and it has a much more cozy vibe than it had. The food is your basic diner fare. Big portions, tasty and affordable. Best coffee in town and a wide variety of juices and soft drinks. Do yourself a favor and give them a try.you won't be disappointed!
This place was crowded on a Tuesday at 11am. That's how good the food is. The French Toast was amazing!
The have done some very nice updated
They day we went they were very busy. Little disappointed with the French toast it was a very small piece.
The food was great, however our service was horrible. Our waitress was very unwelcoming. She would ignore us whenever we tried to get her attention. I asked if I can order my sons food first who’s four years old, since me and my husband were still looking at the menu, she said no the order has to be put in together (unheard of) …. She was short and abrupt. It seems like she did not want to engage with us at all. My guess is that it had to do with our skin complexion. I would not recommend this place even if the food is good, it’s not worth being uncomfortable for. There are many other diners that will make you feel welcomed.
Went there for breakfast with family and friends (8). The sever must have been having a rough morning. She was rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I had to ask her to stop taking our order and to
Leave my table immediately. We asked for the manager but he/she never showed up; which led me to believe he was related to the rude one.our second sever was very pleasant and courteous. The food was ok, we enjoyed it went about our business. Wish I could have gotten the name of the Second Lady who took care of our table, You are a perfect example of professionalism! Thank you!
Old school diner feel, pure Americana! The staff is great. I recommend the pancakes. My standard order is 4 with bananas and nuts. Greek menu items are cooked with generations-old recipes.
We like this place a lot. But, they have a habit of closing earlier than what is stated on maps. Today was another example were we drove 20 minutes to have a late breakfast and they closed 40 minutes early. The closed sign was up and we knocked on the door and we could see a wait staff sitting at a booth eating and ignoring us.
Love this Diner! Food is great, service is wonderful! I love their French toast it's the best I have had in a long time!
