Pioneer does put up quality buildings, but they have terrible communication skills when it comes time to build. Through the entire process, I felt like we were always trying to get ahold of someone. We had contractors not show up on a scheduled day, with no communication from Pioneer as to why. Spent the morning calling multiple extensions until finally someone picked up who had to do some investigating. Apparently ‘in the notes’ was reasoning that the contractors were behind in their last job and no one felt the need to let us know. Then when the day came to have the overhead doors installed, again no one shows up with absolutely not communication from Pioneer. We get told the door aren’t in yet, when we signed our contract in May 2022, and it’s now February 2023. All these concerns were brought to the attention of Alison Wolfe, but never went anywhere. Was told she would bring the concerns up to a supervisor, probably just said that to appease my husband when he called to complain. The lack of communication on their end caused issues with us being able to lay the floor with another company, Pioneer basically said though luck.
It’s disappointing because as I said, once the building was finally completed, we are happy with the quality of what we have. However based on the complete lack of communication and professionalism, I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone else looking to build. The building aren’t cheap, so don’t treat people like they don’t matter once you get their checks.

Professional company. Asked for a quote and got it literally within twenty four hours.
EDIT: HOWEVER, scheduling the project was back and forth. Miscommunications.
Overestimation on materials that I supplied (Stone looks like about 30 tons) because no one came to actually measure. Had me send pictures of the inside edges and he calculated off of that.

I'll end on a good note.
Building erected pin straight.
Concrete guys poured a nice floor.
Good price.

Pioneer did a outstanding build for me including contract review, framing, garage doors, interior insulation, and interior metal finishes. This was my 1st experience with Pioneer and will work with them again in the future. Thank you Pioneer team for a job well done.

I could not have had a better experience than I have with PPB during my project. Sales and project management were both very responsive and clearly understand the concept of excellence in customer relations. The build team was incredibly hard working, polite and personable. Follow-up for minor issues already noted by the build team was efficient and complete. Other PPB entities that participated in the project were also excellent. I can't wait to start using my new workshop building after I complete the interior work that I will be handling myself. Good company. Good product. Good result.

Pioneer managed to construct our Pole Barn through a difficult period of rising costs, supply chain and labor challenges. They under promised and over performed. Their integrity in using our deposit to protect our contract price was simply amazing. They are developing and growing with a core group of subs who are either wholly related to them or in partnership. PPB is worth every cent for management services and assistance in the little, unexpected stuff that comes along. They are incredibly careful on the property, even though we had a "tight" and fragile site. Be glad they can get you into their schedule! -James

Once ordered it took a while for everything to come in, but once it did things moved along very quickly. Everyone was very professional and courteous. The building looks amazing and very good quality.

After waiting almost a year for another company to put up my garage, I gave up and signed a contract with Pioneer. Within 4.5 months everything was completed. It only took them 2 days to install a 24x31 - 12ft ceilings. The pad was pre poured and they were able to bolt brackets into the concrete. PPB’s met all their timelines and the structure turned out amazing. Communication was crystal clear. I would recommend them to anyone.

Turned out better than my expectations. Group leader was professional, Likeable. The garage is 20° cooler even without HVAC. Enjoyed the whole experience.

Every aspect of our project was handled professionally. They came to the site when promised and they did a great job. Fantastic experience and I will use them on my next project. We love our new barn.

The only thing that could have been better is that some of the workers left their personal garbage like drink containers and food wrappers behind.

Building looks great. Always responsive to questions and/or calls for answers. Smooth process beginning to end. Construction crew was quick and it is a quality building.
