This is a great place to go if you are into hobby grade RC cars, the owner is knowledgeable and helpful, they have a great selection of cars big and small

Everyone there was super nice and helpful and the cars had up to date prices from when manufacturers decreased the prices

I recently went here to support local business, even though its a little out of the way. The person there spoke down to me and gave me bad suggestions. I was sold electronics and parts that didn't work with my model. Some of the parts weren't even compatible with each other. I didn't find this out until I had them partially installed and soldered, plus the shop was too far out of my way. I'm hoping that the mismatched parts don't hurt my model or meet an early death due to the bad parts selection.

Specifically, I was recommended and sold a Hobbywing 10bl120 ESC and 3800KV motor for use with a 4x4 SCT for bashing purposes. The ESC is only rated for 2WD, and the pinion gear I was sold was for a 3mm axle, and the motor has a 5mm axle.

Pricing was pretty good, and if there had been someone with a better understanding, there the parts selection would have been more useful. What a shame, as I was hoping to take it out after working on it.

The only reason this review isn't 1 star is because the pricing and selection were now horrible and they have a short course track. I'll go to my local shop next time and stick to the back yard.

As far as I can tell pit stop hobbies is one of the best stocked hobby shops around bar none. Outstanding jobon layout of store it's all easily reached an seen.

Awesome store! I cannot say enough the great experience I had at Pit Stop Hobbies! Incredibly large stock of RC cars/vehicles, parts, and support accessories at great prices.

I walked in with a good idea of what I was looking for. Chris was awesome and went above and beyond to assist me. He brought the vehicle I was interested in over to the counter, pulled the body off and let me take my time checking it out, as it the first I was seeing it in person. When he realized that he didn't have the specific battery and charging bundle kit that I wanted as well (they're unavailable everywhere online also) he offered to piece it together but only charge me the cheaper bundle price. He even knocked a few bucks off of the final total when he rung it all up! All of this without me even asking! AND this was in addition to everything already being priced lower than all of the online retailers!

Please go out of your way to support this local brick and mortar store. Pit Stop Hobbies went above and beyond for me. They are more than willing to help out and answer your questions. While they specialize in electric powered RC cars, their large stock is incredibly diverse across several brands with everything from on road cars to buggies to rock crawlers.

I will definitely be going out of my way to give this store as much of my future business as possible.

They have odd hours but it's worth the trip. Great prices for Axial scx24 and Traxxas RC's. Friendly people and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place. They also have a dirt track to race on and a small crawler track in the front.

Drove 20 min to get Short Horrible Service… Been shopping at pit stop for many years with previous owners. Gentleman did not want to help at all and couldn’t wait to have us and every one in the store leave. Walked in with very simple needs and wanted to purchase a good amount of products because I believe in supporting local. But online will get my business now.

I was out of town and looking forba decent hobby shop, very helpful and had everything I needed. I will be working down that way for awhile, ill be coming back!

Out of box rc displays. New rc prices that match online sellers. On site race track. And free rock crawler course.

Poor customer service. Owner had no interest in trying to fix my son's RC car. If you don't buy a car from him, he won't fix it, or claim he doesn't have the part. Rude and not friendly. Don't take your kids there.

Stopped in with my son as he wanted some new stuff and I wanted to support a small/local business. Upon entering there was a customer with no mask but I see that at most stores. The thing is, there was only 1 customer and the store is pretty small so I was wondering why the staff wouldn't ask the customer to wear a mask. We then noticed the only employee in the store was also not wearing a mask. We felt uncomfortable and left, we spent our money elsewhere.

I've been to a lot of hobby shops in central Pennsylvania and I'll tell you what some people may think that's a small store but that guy has just as many parts as any other big place around outstanding job great facilities in a really nice track outside
