The staff named Andrew was unresponsive and rude when asked about basic fitness-business-required info like waiver and insurance.

I can't say enough good things about this gym. Definitely a community feel. A true judgment-free zone. The trainers are so well versed in exercise physiology and technique and they share their knowledge with you, very specific knowledge at that. I feel super encouraged by the trainers. There is a plentitude of options depending on your preferences, goals and budget (classes, 1: 1, independent work). Focus is really on health, not necessarily aesthetics, which I very much appreciate. I always feel welcome, and findt membership at PFP to be a superb value.

They never refunded me the $10 that was supposed to be "refunded" after the initial visit. Another money hungry gym.

I started training with Jake at PFP in 2018 and re-started training sessions in Oct 2022 with Andrew after a COVID hiatus.

The staff, coaches, and clientele create such a welcoming environment - I've always felt comfortable, supported, and encouraged during training sessions.

I've appreciated Andrew's technical knowledge and expertise since resuming training sessions at PFP. He adeptly applies strength training goals to align with my overall fitness objectives, and I have seen remarkable results thanks to his careful attention to training plans and to monitoring of form during workouts. Most importantly, his positive attitude and humor make the sessions fun!

The staff named Andrew was unresponsive and rude when asked about basic fitness-business required info like waiver and insurance. The owner also believes that hanging up the phone when encountering such simple, basic, and not tricky question around safety is the appropriate manner to treat a potential customer. Suspicious place. Can't recommend.

Although I only recently started at PFP, I feel like I've already found my fitness home. The trainers here are fun, experts in their fields, and compassionate; I have tried a lot of different gyms over the years and haven't found anywhere that fits me quite like PFP.

I have training sessions with Andrew two (soon to be three) times a week, and his programs are tailored and thoughtful. Previous injuries and a sedentary schedule have made it difficult for me to move in certain ways, and Andrew is always happy to help me adapt a movement or make sure that I am moving in a way that furthers my strength goals. His guidance and encouragement have been of great help in making my fitness journey fulfilling; his one-step-at-a-time direction is helping me build confidence as well as enjoy my sessions.

Highly recommend coming in and trying out PFP; no matter where you are in your fitness journey, you'll find a home here.

Great atmosphere, especially for women who want to work out in a supportive environment. The trainers and the classes are great, too!

I recently started working out at PFP and working with my trianer, Tom three times a week. I was nervous to start working out again, but Tom and the team has made the process easy and fun. I always feel welcome, accepted, and supported by Tom and the PFP community every time I'm in the gym. They provide excellent coaching and training expertise in a supportive and fun community. Even on the days I don't feel like working out, I leave feeling better and proud of myself. Thank you PFP team!

The best. Best collection of people. Best programs. Best and most fun times. Best exercising. I wish I had more time in the day to spend at PFP. Seriously - you'll feel like part of the crew day 1.

Great environment! Supportive and encouraging staff/team.

I have been a member of PFP since 2017 and although my experience is mostly related to the barbell club, I believe the culture I have witnessed applies to the entire gym. My favorite thing about the gym's culture is its focus on inclusivity. The membership is a wide-range of folks from different cultures, which I think add a richness to the experience.

The coaches are highly supportive and take care with writing workout programming that is appropriate for each client or class. Even if someone is not interested in attending group sessions/classes, with inclusivity as a focus, I have witnessed some of the open-gym members still becoming "part of the family. "

I recommend PFP to anyone interested in putting more focus on their health. With a solid inclusive environment already in place, take comfort in that all shapes/cultures/experience-levels are welcome.

Been coming to classes for almost three years! Love the entire team here, and particularly that the group classes are as difficult as you want to make them. There's no pressure, but if you want to increase your abilities, they will help you endlessly! Highly recommend.

I really needed a personal trainer and not just another gum membership. PFP is perfect! It is welcoming and accepting of everyone. I never feel out of place. Everyone is friendly. The new massage therapy space is wonderful! I finally found a "gym" that doesn't make me feel awkward or uncomfortable.and it is very affordable!

The atmosphere here is one of kindness and friendship. There is a strong sense of community that is very close yet open to new people joining. The coaches are knowledgeable and are able to help people at all skill levels. You never feel belittled or weak. The coaches work with you to become the best you can be. If you want to begin your fitness journey or seek to continue it, definitely come here!

I'm a known gym hopper. I'm the type who get's excited about a specific training style or class - and then get's completely burnt out on it. I love training with Jake at PFP because he encourages all of my fitness interests. No session is like the last. Some days I squat heavy, others are more HIIT based, and other times we lean into my gymnast background and work on handstands and intricate balances. I just celebrated my two year anniversary and I plan on celebrating many more. And the coolest part is, I'm comfortable with every single trainer, not just Jake. I love working out in a place that is actually judgement free and encourages me to live my best life. PFP truly is my #fitfam!

When I got out of college I was really starting to get into olympic weightlifting. I was trying to self teach myself, but I just kept coming up short. While I continued to struggle, one of my buddies told me about PFP, and Tom Duer. I went there for a barbell assessment, and from that second on I knew this was the gym for me. I signed up on the spot and it has been nothing but positive results and good vibes ever since. Tom, and the rest of his trainers are excellent coaches who work very well with the clients and write programs that are designed for YOU. Not the cookie cutter average you see in most gyms. They also provide a great array of group classes that would put most commercial gym classes to shame. The atmosphere at the gym is encouraging, upbeat, and positive. ALWAYS. The coaches, athletes, and clients there always try to pull the most out of you so that you can achieve the best version of yourself. It feels like we’re all one big family every time I’m there. Ever since I’ve signed up there, my clean and jerk has increased by 20kg (and climbing), my snatch by 30kg (and climbing), and my back and front squat by almost 50kg. And thanks to these guys, this December I’ll be competing in my first weightlifting competition! Its really amazing what a good atmosphere and even better coaches can do for you. I HIGHLY recommend this gym to any aspiring Olympic weightlifter, bodybuilder, or even someone who just wants to get in shape, move better, and build a healthier self inside and out. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

PFP is awesome. If you have aesthetic goals they will certainly help you meet them, but that isn't really the focus of most of the people that work out here. Overall this is a very body-positive space. You're much more likely to get feedback on your form or progress in fitness than on your appearance. People of all shapes and sizes work out here and everyone is super welcoming! I have made a lot of progress in my lifts and found a great community to boot.
