We purchased 12+ windows and a storm door. The installation was fine. However, the post-installation service is terrible. We had to remove a screen for an ac unit. We are unable to reinstall it. I have called Pgh W&D several times and have been told that they are too busy with installation. I was told they would have someone stop by if they were in my neighborhood. Once, I received an email/text 10-15 minutes before they wanted to stop by. Guess what, I wasn't home. Another time, they scheduled a day and time for help; the appointed time came and went. When I called, I was told the person was sick that day. They have never reached out to reschedule or responded to my calls.
The remaining windows in my house will NOT be Pgh W&D.

Tom did such a great job and we are so happy with the end result! He was extremely helpful and very responsive with our questions and concerns as well.

A lady from work recommended Pittsburgh Window & Door and I am very pleased with the entire experience. I called on a Saturday and set a time for Tom to stop and look at my front door and screen doors. I asked for recommendations and Tom went through our options and the door/screen doors are beautiful. The quality workmanship and excellent installation make a world of difference. If you are looking for new doors, plan ahead and know that it is a process it may take a few months before the doors are installed. I highly recommend a Pittsburgh Window & Door.

We had a great experience with Pittsburgh Window and Door. Mike came out to quote and was knowledgeable, professional, honest and up front. The main entry door installation was as smooth as its gets. We are very happy with the service and the door. I highly recommend Pittsburgh Window and Door.

So far this has been the best experience we have had with getting quotes for doors. The owner himself comes and meets with you and does not give you a bunch of sales pitches for the company. This alone was an exceptional experience itself. So glad we were referred her from a friend. No other company can come close to their service and pricing.

The very worst customer service ever! We work with subcontractors nationwide and are never faced with such uncalled for behavior. If the company allows their customer facing sales and field personal to behave this way, shame on them. What a poor showing from their sales manager, Michael Hetzler. He is argumentative, arrogant, and lacks overall professionalism. Before leaving these folks quote a Commerical or residential project, do yourself a favor and find another vendor.
To the owners of the business- you really need to look into your employees and examine whether or not this is how you want to be represented.

Hired Pittsburgh Window and Door to replace a storm door for me. These guys are truly professional craftsmen who take pride in what they do. They were great from beginning to end. I will go to them for all work that I need done in the future.

Do NOT use this company. Worst customer service EVER! There are many other companies that have Provia doors. Use one of them. I would give them zero stars but couldn't post without at least one.
Michael Hetzler was a nightmare to work with. Paternalistic and misogynistic. I could list all of my issues with this nightmare company. The bottom line is after waiting over 24 weeks for a door (and over a month prior to that trying to get various quotes and much attitude) I found out my door was NEVER ordered. And btw, the price has gone up - a lot. GO to a different company.

Nice windows at a fair price. The installation crew seemed to really take pride in what they do.
