Pivot Physical Therapy, Dickson City PA

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. The staff are great, they make you feel comfortable, and they will keep working on a problem until you feel better. Highly recommend this pivot location for anyone who needs it.

I suffered a shoulder injury a few weeks ago. A friend suggested I contact Steve at Pivot Physical Therapy to see if he could help me out. The best thing I could have done! Steve is knowledgeable about shoulder injuries and applied that knowledge to help get my shoulder working with so much less pain. The therapists work with one client at a time and ensure that one performs the exercises they give correctly. They are caring, compassionate and professional. I’d give more stars if I could.

My son recieves OT, PT, and Speech therapies at Pivot. I usually don't review places but I felt this was very much necessary to do so. We've recieved therapies all over with different companies for 7 years we are no strangers when it comes to therapy and what the expectations and outcomes should be. I absolutely have to say my son and I both love pivot. The therapist are so qualified at what they do, the therapist to parent communications are great, the patience they have for the children is remarkable they truly understand the children and where their coming from. The growth I've seen in my child's progress in a short period of time is outstanding and makes me just want to keep bringing him back for more. There has been plenty of times we couldn't make in person therapies due to unforseen circumstances but pivot was able to accommodate us even through virtual live therapy sessions and never judged or threatened us that we would lose services. Honestly I wish I started here with my son when they first opened in Dickson City. I feel like I wouldn't be able to replace these services anywhere else and recieve the same quality of care. My son was resistant towards therapies at other companies and it would usually be a power struggle at pivot he walks in happy, no power struggles, and comes out happy. I would highly recommend pivot for your child's needs and I feel you wouldn't be disappointed.

My two little boys receive therapy from here to address their different needs. Everyone on staff is friendly and professional. The speech therapist always has an engaging activity and specific words or sentences that my son needs more practice forming on his AAC device and eliciting speech sounds. She models how to speak the words with exaggerated mouth movements or gestures and my son attempts to imitate them. The occupational therapist is helping the boys with their pick eating. We select foods we think they may be willing to try. It’s a true partnership between therapists, parents and little patients that has resulted in more communication with my older son with ASD and both boys eating a wider variety of foods such as apple slices, clementines, cauliflower fries and grapes. Thanks Pivot!

Pivot has been very helpful for me. I came in with back and neck problems and Megan has made me feel so much better. Everyone is very friendly and it’s a great atmosphere. I recommend Pivot to everyone and Megan is a great helpful Physical Therapist that will get you feeling better!

I've been coming to the Dickson City PIVOT location since July and have been under Megan Phillips care and to say I'm impressed at the quality of care that both Megan and all the other staff members provide is an understatement. I have been in a few other locations for physical therapy for ongoing hip complications and I am above impressed with the treatment and quality of care I receive each visit. The atmosphere is refreshing and each visit is a personable experience.

Everyone is beyond attentive and I would HIGHLY recommend anyone going through or preparing to go through physical rehab to reach out to the amazing staff at the Dickson City location!

I started at Pivot Therapy 2 years ago, not being able to sit for any length of time over a few minister or walk a long time. After therapy I was able to go on a bus trip that lasted 2 hours and sit for lunch and then go to a show that lasted 3 hours and return home on a bus for 2 hours. I did all this with no pain because of the GREAT therapy I received. I have returned several times because after surgeries that caused me to be immobile for a little time caused pain again. Previous to coming to Pivot I had been to several other places without results. I feel that Pivot is the BEST place in the area. The staff is professional, personable, kind and listen carefully to your concerns and questions. I am very pleased with my experiences here. Thank you Pivot

Steve and his staff at PIVOT are truly awesome! It’s such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere but most importantly they are all knowledgeable and caring when it comes to treating you. I would recommend this place HIGHLY to anyone who is looking for 5 star care!

Amazing staff and a great comfortable place to have your physical therapy done. They helped me originally with my right knee and are currently doing an outstanding job with rehabbing my right shoulder after surgery. Highly recommend going to them for any of your PT needs.

The pivot staff team is very nice, caring, and they know what they are doing. The amount of time and care they put into their work is immense. They have a very nice facility and are always doing their best to help their patients feel better. Whether you have a broken leg to a labrum tear, they will make sure that you heal properly. The staff is easy to work with and get used to because they are very outgoing people. Also making appointments is not a hassle, very simple, and they will fit it to your schedule perfectly. As I keep going their excellency just continues to excel past my expectations.

Kelly Grunstra and the whole staff at Pivot are wonderful. We have been going there for several years and have seen great success.

Steve has worked with me before and I am totally satisfied with his knowledge and care he has given me. This location definitely deserves more than a 5 star. Rating.
