Pizza Odyssey reviews
18Dear Odyssey, I came in good faith to your page taking your prices listed as the prices listed. To get a call from GrubHub stating you can't fulfill my order unless I pay more money is not only shady business practices but also against the law. I do not govern your prices and for this reason, I leave this buyer beware! Don't be scammed by this business! You have the ability to update your prices so do it. I am not a mind reader!
I ordered from Pizza Odyssey for a few years until they screwed up our orders 3 times in a row. Took a year off from ordering from them. Tried again today, ordered the Turkey Bacon Ranch wrap. Wrap came with 2 slices of turkey. 2. Amazing! They charged $11 and gave me 2 pieces. Pizza Odyssey has really declined in quality, accuracy of order and care for the customer. Buyer Beware.
Doesn't sell by the slice but a medium is enough for extra later. Price wasn't absurd and waiting was not long.
Take out only but it's our favorite Friday night dinner. Parking is tricky but turnover is high so circle the block and a spot will open up.
I'm not sure why the following is a thing.
These pizza shops that have specific closing hours, but if the owner isn't present, they stop answering the phone 45MINS BEFORE closing.
Apparently, Pizza Odyssey has been added to this list. Disappointing.
The only other complaint I have to date. When I order a cheesesteak and request extra cheese, half of the time it is ignored.
I haven't ordered from here in a while & now I know why. First off the prices have increased dramatically & it's a disgrace. 1-Cheesesteak & the bread was soggy & not fresh? 1 order of freezer burned fries, that tasted like they were fried in dirty grease, & 1 soda all for over $18.00! Wait I'm sorry $19.30. They charge 3% extra for using a card. Guess what? That was the last time after going there for over 25yrs. The menu is now in the trash.
Best Italian Stromboli hands down. I moved out of the area 12 years ago but whenever I come back to visit friends and family I get 2 to take home absolutely delicious!
I've ordered from this place 3 times, since moving around the area. I thought my food was good all 3 times. The burger bacon pizza I ordered was my favorite of my 3 orders. It was loaded with burger and bacon, unlike some other pizza joints who skimp on toppings. My 2 complaints are a lack of au jus sauce when I ordered a roast beef sandwich, and their pizza crust could have some flavor added to it. Like salt & garlic mixed into the crust. Pizza Odyssey is a good pizza place, but not quite an excellent pizza place.
Staff is always friendly, courteous, very quick to fill orders. The food however has declined. I used to always order the chicken Caesar pita however the chicken was either buried chewy or the dressing was very skimpy. Even their cheesesteaks didn't seem to have a lot of meat in there. They're hoagies, specifically turkey, didn't seem that fresh. I used to spend about $30 every weekend there and have stopped.
Good food. Reasonable prices. I was very ungainly to discover that they charge a 3٪ fee for using a credit card.
Love their pineapple pizza
That was then this is now 4/18 order took too long pie was dry and cold glad I deducted from the driver tip he's to old to be delivering obviously driving family car to slow blaming traffic you're only a little over a mile away girl told 20 minutes before you were on your way and if you think I'm someone without a clue I actually worked 20 years at New England Pizza don't worry won't be calling you again
I worked at this pizza place and it is completely disgusting. They are not sanitary and most of the employees don’t wear gloves. Employees are always messing up orders. They have roaches. They give out rotten food and drink. It is just a terrible place all around. Management is terrible and they have terrible customer service as well.
New owners.used to order from her but the food started to taste cheaper.the cheese tastes watered down.just my opinion!
Cheesesteak costed 12 dollars and tasted like nothing. No seasoning, unions, or flavor. And the employees don't wear masks. Go to Philly for a cheesesteak.
I order from pizza odyssey almost faithfully every Friday. We normally get pizza and wings. I also have ordered cheesesteaks a few times. This time I decided to Order a Buffalo chicken Stromboli. And I am highly disappointed. There is no buffalo sauce. It taste like grilled chicken and cheese with pizza sauce that was baked in dough. The chicken is not even shredded it is just cut up into large pieces. I really hate to make this review but I just want people to know that if you are going to order a buffalo chicken Stromboli from here. Don’t!
BEST PIZZA AND HOAGIES FOR MILES IN ALL DIRECTIONS. LOOKING FOR A GREAT DESSERT TO GO WITH YOUR MEAL? TRY THEIR CHOCOLATE MOUSSE CAKE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.
Pizza Odyssey has great food and a huge menu. Their chicken tenders are my absolute favorite chicken tenders from anywhere and I love their french fries.
Had to chance to work down the street from here and ordered lunch. I ordered a meat lovers pizza and when I picked it up - it did not look appetizing. I actually told the cashier that it looks like they made a well done pizza (picture attached) and she did not utter a word back to me. Just handed me my receipt and said have a nice day. I was a little irked at first but once I ate the pizza.not gonna lie it was VERY GOOD. NO ISSUES here for me so if I am ever working I'm the area again I will be sure to order a different menu item.
