Pizza Pronto Pizza and Gyro House, Pittsburgh PA

Our company bought a many different pizzas from this establishment for lunch.

I have to say the plain pizza is very bland.
Pepperoni banana pepper pizza was okay.
I decided not to try the remaining different pies.

Delivery person seemed friendly and courteous

I have ordered food from pizza Pronto for 4 years this was the first time they ever messed up my order. The owner himself offered to comp my meal. Amazing service huge portions for good prices l. Their subs are the best in bellevue!

I live in Bellevue and just ordered their sausage pizza and gyro platter and very happy with order! Ranch is good too!

Cheese blend is off, crust is a little too thick, and there's next to no sauce on the pizza. Also went very light on the pepperoni, maybe 8 pieces on a large pizza. Friendly service but will not be returning

Hands down my favorite pizza shop in the area! From plain cheese pizza to their speciality pierogi pizza, you can’t go wrong with their delicious homemade sauce and homemade dough. Fast and friendly service everytime!

I am Grubhub driver, and they working very slowly, I waited for my order abt 20 more minutes, actually they are older women, so I think younger people doing faster than older women! I am very disappointed! They are very rude!

My wife ordered a special deal and then my sister ordered a special deal they tried to say we could not order another special. It was one per person. Then I get to the store to pick up food and they were rude and one order was ready then I had to wait another 10 mins or so for my sister when they ordered one after another.

Their pizza is excellent, it really is. It actually saddens me to have to cut them loose and find an alternative. I've tolerated chronic lateness on delivery orders and other oddities (like a pizza that had obviously been dropped, with the toppings clinging to one side of the box) because it is so good. This latest issue somehow broke my spirit. Extra large, half pepperoni, half sausage. It shows up ten minutes late (yeah, whatever) and I open it to find half plain cheese with the other half having both the pepperoni and the sausage. Sorry, but I'm out.

We ordered the Gourmet Greek pizza and it was anything but Gourmet! The crust was undercooked, topping was carelessly thrown on, clumps of feta on one piece and none on the next, a pile of onion on one piece and not much more on the other pieces, whole olives, rather being sliced, just all around sloppy pizza! It doesn't feel good to eat something that looks like a toddler made it! To be fair, we are regular customers and never had a problem in the past. I wanted to call and find out what happened, new cook maybe? Unfortunately it was the owner who made the pizza! He was just as nasty as the pizza that he made himself! I've NEVER been talked to so rude by a restaurant worker or owner! It was so embarrassing on his behalf! What a slug.

Errors on order. Side salad was missing, got an order of popcorn chicken that we did not order. Instead of a chicken Ceaser salad, we got a gyro salad. Delivery driver didn't even apologize for the errror.

Honestly pretty good pizza, I do wish it was less soggy though. It’s practically drenched in oil.

We ordered an Italian hoagie, BBQ wings, and pepperoni garlic rolls and everything was delicious! We arrived at 8pm and the dining room was closed but being that we live in Fox Chapel we really didn't want it to go so he opened the dining room back up for us! Amazingly friendly and customer focused place! I will go back every time I have the chance!

Fantastic Gyro. I had a hankering for a good Gyro since I hadn't had one in a long time so I ask the old Google "who has a good gyro near me? " and it spit out Mike & Tony's in South Side (which is too long a drive for me) and Pronto Pizza in Belvue/Avalon. I figured "meh, what the heck, let's try it", after all I dated a girl who lived over this way so I "sort of" knew the area. It was about 15 minutes from my house which is a hike for food, but not that bad.
The girl on the phone was friendly and pleasant. I asked her which was better, chicken or gyro meat and she gave me a very straightforward and honest answer "the gyro meat is better, its REAL gyro, not the processed junk! ". Ok then! Sold!
The food was priced adequately, not expensive by any means. And the food was exceptional. They pack everything separate which is nice for picky people, and the meat is REAL gyro just like the specialty places, (not that sliced compressed "loaf" stuff). Y
You can tell from the meat slices/shavings they have real gyro meat roasting on a spit in the kitchen. Their Tzatziki sauce tasted homemade and had actual cucumber bits in it, very mild and creamy. The tzatziki was a very nice foil to the spiciness of the meat. Fries were received hot and tasty. One gyro with fries set me back about $12. But I could barely finish the dang thing, it was packed full, large sized, and I could barely eat the rest of my fries after plowing through the tasty gyro (I put fries ON the gyro usually, that's how a lot of places serve them in southeastern Europe). Overall, I'd eat here again, no doubt.
Food was hot, portion good, quality was good. People were nice to me. No complaints at all. I definitely recommend the traditional gyros! Never had the pizza here, but I'm inclined to try it after receiving a high quality gyro.

It is a good family pizza shop. The owner remembers her clients. Very good service and atmosphere. Can't wait for sit down dinning room to return. Great place to eat!

Pizza Pronto has really gone downhill and it’s really disappointing since it’s so close to us and we really want to support it and the pizza used to be good! The past multiple times we ordered (we keep ordering hoping we will end up getting a good one) they literally don’t put ANY sauce at all. There’s literally like an inch+ layer of cheese and no sauce and I’ve never even seen a pizza made like this… We even started ordering the pizza with “extra sauce” because of this and they just will not put any on. I don’t know what the problem is it makes the pizza like really chewy and gross. So disappointing.
