Pizzeria Pesto, Philadelphia PA

Pretty inconsistent pizza. Sometimes great, sometimes not. I ordered a pizza delivery and it showed up very fast but it was not freshly made. They put my topping on finished pizza with some mozz and reheated the pizza. Decent pizza but little stale, not hot and the topping not well adhered to the pizza. I have gotten great pizza from them before but this was not great.

I would reccomend ordering in person to monitor quality.

Stop fooling around and get Pizzeria Pesto. Don’t be fooled by the “typical pizza place” menu; everything you get will be prepared with the freshest and homemade ingredients. My order below on a random Thursday night - chicken parm sandwich, Sicilian pepperoni pizza, and broccoli bites - my delivery driver made sure to tell me the bread was made that afternoon and the dough fresh that morning.

The little things count and Pesto nails every one. The sauce to dip the bites? Homemade and complimentary. The cheese on the sandwich? Little bit of paper stuck to it because it doesn’t have any chemicals or powders to prevent it from sticking. That’s a good thing.

I have to say the bread here is so delicious be it the rolls for sandwiches i feel they are up there with top like sarcones etc the pizza is vg as are sandwiches my negative is the are very low on spices ive ordered hoagies etc that are bit bland also pizza bit bland but i guess they leave it to the buyer to spice it up to own taste! Nice full sandwiches! Ordered the veg Stromboli very good in taste.but didn't like how big & stringy long hard pieces of rabe or whatever was in it … needs be chopped finer in my opinion… but all in all one tops here in s philly & the restaurant food next door to die for!

Pizza had no taste! Meatball parmigiana sandwiches had no flavor and was composed of mostly bread. Not worth the money.

We catered food for the Christmas Party and LOVED it. Delicious calamary, chicken parmesan, breaded shrimp, etc. Highly recommended for parties and large events.

Ordered a chicken parmesan sandwich.it was like eating bread and cheese.the chicken cutlet was barely noticeable in the sandwich. Will not get this again

Delivery is super slow. I get it’s cheaper to make your own rolls which probably works great for dinners but stop using them for sandwiches. Just pay the extra ten cents per sandwich and use Liscio’s!

The phone was disconnected every single time we called so we took a chance and ordered the pizza. The pizza arrived in a reasonable sized box but little to my knowledge it was not at all the size of the pizza. That was the smallest pizza I ever ordered, I couldn’t even feed my family. Zero stars

Last night’s dinner experience at Pesto was magnificent. The food was extraordinary and the service was over the top! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation right now.

My kids and I have had pizza from many different places but this by far is the best pizza we have every tasted.

Amazing! I order the BBQ chicken pizza and the upside down tomato pie! I will only be ordering from here for pizza takeout! They are quick and inexpensive.

At a 5 star rating I figured I would give this place out to redeem my Slice free pizza. Possibly order from them more often like I do other places. They say stick to what you know. If you know this place and like it pizza thatis paper thing, falling out if your hand, great for you. If you don't, save yourself the time and do not order from here. Whether be it my pizza was free or not due to me redeeming my free pizza provided by the slice app, should not change the fact on how an order is prepared and made. Given the fact that the customer is still adding another item to the order, which was poorly packaged, with the marinara sauce looking like buffalo sauce all over the brown paper bag they were thrown into. On top of that, pun intended, was extra pepperoni, which brought would bring the cost If the pizza, if purchased at full price at $16.50. I've ordered a Pepperoni Passion Plus Pizza from another place and that pizza is loaded with pepperoni for $16.80. This pizza I ordered here from Pizzeria Pesto looks like it just has one measly order of pepperoni. Not to mention that being in hold with customer service, who in turn is on hold with Pizzeria Pesto, now for 15 minutes, and counting 3 "Thanks for holding. Your call is important to us, " automated messages, "  for this issue to be rectified. Thank you for the pizza, but I will not be ordering from you again. Never received my refund for the food that I was unable to eat because it was so horribly packaged and tasted horrible. Fuck this Pizzeria Pesto place.

Impossible to eat lunch there when you work. Servers way to slow. Turn the host into a waiter.

If you can pick up, go for it. In terms of delivery it took 90 minutes to arrive. By the time it got here the pizza was cold and bland.
