Planet Fitness, Johnstown PA

Great place to workout with a relaxed environment. Plenty of equipment so not much waiting around. Staff is great also.

Very nice environment, can get a little crowded at time, but very convenient to where I live and plenty of fitness and cardio machines.

Everyone has been incredibly helpful and friendly. There is so much variety in machines that I'll never get bored!

The staff are friendly and helpful, the facility is always clean, and the set-up and equipment numbers ensure that it never feels crowded. Also, the hydromassage beds are fantastic.

Free classes, orientation to get to know what's what around the gym, and access to personal trainers to help guide you to a program that will help accomplish your specific goals. Also, the hydro massage table and the Beauty Angel with the black membership card help me really relax after a good workout, and I can bring a guest! I just transferred to Johnstown from Florida, and so far there staff have been really great, and I actually like the equipment and setup here better. Everything looks to be clean and in great shape, and each treadmill and elliptical has its own monitor so you can watch something while you're doing your cardio if you like. Plus, being directly across the street from work and right next to the VA clinic make it VERY convenient! I do wish it were open 24/7 like my last location since I sometimes work very late on the weekends, but otherwise it's great!

Gym is affordable, and its really clean. Locker room and showers are nice too. I like that the showers are more private. They have a lot of equipment for beginners to seasoned gym goers. Location is nice also.

A ton of equipment with no wait time.awesome atmosphere with no judgement.would recommend anyone looking to get back to the gym to start here

I love going to Planet Fitness! I feel comfortable while I am there, the machines are easy to use, the staff is friendly, and the black card perks are great!

Amazing place! Love that there is no pressure and the ability to work at my own pace. Plenty of machines, plus great other things like massage rooms, tanning, locker rooms with showers.

As a member, and having this place so close to work it is very convenient. The other members are always pleasant. The staff is typically courteous.

Johnstown PA location has some people with sticky fingers i bought a bottle of tanning lotion when I signed up less than a month ago and sat it on a bench in the locker room to use the restroom and by the time I finished it was gone. Same happened with a pair of my husbands headphones.

Best place I've ever worked out at. The staff is amazing if you have a question. I love this place. Can't stay there enough.

I drive a semi truck over the road and have the opportunity to visit many PF locations. This is a very nice facility with lots of equipment and a friendly staff. One of the things that gives it 5 Is the locker room. Clean, Modern, Spacious and the Showers are worthy of a SPA. If you are a Local appreciate your good fortune.

The worst thing about Planet Fitness gyms would be the gigantic fans. This gym is one of the few I’ve been in that doesn’t have a fan in the free weight area but the cardio area is freezing cold as usual. Total buzz kill

It is close to my office if I want to do a lunch time work out. No waiting for equipment I want to use. Work out area and locker room are kept clean.

Attend 3 times a week enjoy the casual atmosphere, being able to locate a trainer to question if needed. Very reasonable pricing for membership, used to pay an outrageous monthly price for a private membership. Love the hours also. Only thing missing is a pool! Lol, cant beat it!

The gym is always clean and the employees friendly! Its large size is also nice because you can usually get in and get out without having to wait for machines or weights to free up.

I love the big fans that I’m not completely drenched, also love that I can scan my card with no waiting when I go in. Tanning beds are also hot & on point.

The rooms are large and equipment is plentiful, so even when there's others working out, it doesn't seem like it's packed and we can't move. The staff here is great. They took us on a tour of the facility first and answered all of our questions. It's the first place that I actually enjoy and look forward to going to workout. The tanning, the hydro massage are just added bonuses, and they are a BONUS! I think the best part about Planet Fitness though is the other people I meet when working out. Everyone there takes pride in our Planet Fitness
