Planet Fitness, North Huntingdon PA

One of my favorite PF locations. Clean, neat, well organized, safe.
I *do* wish the hours were 24/7.

This is just a small review but this is probably the best planet fitness my wife and I have ever been to! We travel the country and use planet fitness as a way to exercise and bathe while on the road and this place is so big and upscale! They have plenty of equipment to use and the restrooms even blew us away. We're leaving soon and its sad to say goodbye because we wish every PF was like this! Service was nice and friendly was well.

This is a great and clean gym but someone steals money from the ladies locker room. Don’t bring your purse inside unless you have a lock.

I like this particular location opposed to the corporate operated ones, the staff is great and it it seems to be ran more like a traditional gym. I don't think I've heard the "lunk alarm" go off in years. I have been to some locations that set it off if you breath too loud. The privately operaterated locations seem to be a little more relaxed in terms of the whole "judgement free" thing

Latrobe Planet Fitness is always a good experience. Great place to work out. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This is absolutely the nicest Planet Fitness location I have been to within a multi-state region. Machines all in good condition with huge variety. Spacious inside and locker rooms/showers are clean and amazing.

I've lost over 80 pounds in the last year was planet fitness if I can do it you can do it.

I placed my account on hold in June. I was still billed in July. I called several times to request a refund and each time I was told a message would be given to the manager. I have yet to be given a refund and have not even been contacted by the manager.
This was a great gym pre-COVID-19, but the last time I was in the club the mask policy was not being enforced. I’m not going to risk my health there, just please give me my ten bucks back.

Clean with a nice variety of equipment. Staff are pleasant and very helpful. I have high blood pressure and diabetes and have made a lot of improvements to my health here. Two stars because they don’t enforce masks so I don’t feel safe working out here anymore.

I haven’t been to the gym much since and it’s disappointing to see myself losing progress. Terminating my membership soon if this doesn’t change so I can go elsewhere.

This is a great gym, but I've been uncomfortable with the lack of enforcement of the statewide mask policy. There are signs at the door and all over the gym telling patrons to wear masks, but none of the employees are enforcing it. Every single time I have been to the gym in the last few weeks, maybe 10% of patrons are wearing masks, and wearing them properly. As the number of cases continues to rise in the area, I don't know if I will be comfortable continuing to go to Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness talks about being open 24 hrs, which was true until the virus hit. They changed their hours from 24 hrs M-F to 6AM to 9PM. Not too big of a deal, but I can't make it any later than about 4: 30 am. Not a big deal, just tried to freeze my account until their hours changed back. The girl at the desk told me that I would still be paying my yearly $40 fee. It is due on Aug 1, today is July 31. I told her to just cancel my account then. She did, but I still have to pay a fee for a service I will not use. She told me it was in my contract. The contract I signed up for was for a 24 hour gym. The girl told me "I don't know what to tell you. "
The moral of the story: Be forewarned- your end of the contract is set in stone, they can apparently change on their end as they choose. Go elsewhere. I could rattle off a litany of other issues I have with this location, but I will resist. Just avoid them. If you do want to go to a Planet Fitness, I'd suggest one under other management. Other locations (nearby) are open at advertised times. This location chooses to do their own thing and still charge you for the full amount.
UPDATE- I just spoke with my wife (who also cancelled her account because of this) and she said that our bank told her that Planet Fitness is notorious for charging people fees even after they end their contract.

Decent gym for the price. I will change my rating whenever they stay open 24/7. I end up having to go to the planet fitness in North Versailles all weekend because the only times I can go is during the late evening. Strange that they close early on the weekends and are open 24 hours during the work week.

I attend Planet Fitness at least 3 to 4 times a week the employees are very friendly and very helpful when you need their help I feel very comfortable working out there.

Pleasant & helpful staff; Great equipment. I never hurt after a good workout.making me go more often. Great location for me. 5 min from home or office. Got good numbers at my doc's appt, after only 3 months! Can't beat the price!

This one is one of the nicer gyms I've been to! The staff is so frendly! Tun of machines and weights!

New guest, enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere. Love the workout rooms, many awesome machines to get a total body workout.

I like the hours of operation - gives me flexible workout options. There are plenty of machines available for aerobic activity. I really enjoy the PE classes with Tina as well.

One of the larger PF's in the Pittsburgh area. The free weight, stretching and machine selection is also on larger and newer side compared to some of the other PF's in the area. Very clean and friendly staff.

Started going last week, the gym is very nice and clean! Lots of machines available to use, and the times I go its not too too busy. The staff is friendly, and the locker room is very nice compared to the ymca i use to go to. For the price, its great!
