Planet Fitness, Jenkintown PA

I decided to join Planet Fitness Jenkintown location because of a TV ad. I initially called and Marcus answered and was so helpful, he told me what I needed to join and I hung up got my workout clothes on and made my way to Planet Fitness to sign up. When I got there Marcus was professional and friendly and the process of joining was easy and informative. I decided to go with the black membership. After joining I went tanning, did 1.5 miles on the treadmill and used the massage table. Planet Fitness Jenkintown is so clean and I felt very welcomed, comfortable and satisfied with my choice to join.

Great gym. Very friendly staff. Tons of room between machines. Lots of machines to use, weights, and etc. Even massage chairs. Fantastic hours.

The gym was well lit and clean. The equipment looked up to date been in good shape. Though I did walk in and there was no one to greet me at the desk so I had to check myself in.

Very clean and friendly gym, has all the equipment you would need to stay in shape. The members are also friendly.

Planet Fitness has consistently met or exceeded gym cleanliness standards before, during, and since the pandemic! The atmosphere is always positive, and the staff friendly and helpful. It is important when working out to balance the work with fun, and you can do that easily at Planet Fitness!

The site is very clean and the PF personnel are friendly. Besides, no waiting on the equipment!

Staff is friendly BUT… WIFI is horrible aka does not ever work. “Zero” service inside like off the grid zero. If you enjoy listening to music from any sort of media app… this is not the place for you. Nothing connects. It’s been 6 months and even for $10 a month I’m considering leaving. Buzz kill every workout.

I walked into the gym planning on buying the Black Card membership pass but I wanted to see the gym first. The counter staff was unfriendly, seemed bothered and wanted me to fill out an entire sign up sheet before even seeing the gym. I declined and left. This was an easy sale but I'll gladly take my money to LA Fitness.

It has been remodeled and re-named from "The Green Room. " Sadly, the old charm with overstuffed chairs is gone. However, the food was outstanding and so was our server.

The staff at the front desk are always friendly and the facility is kept clean. This location has two levels which is great when you just want that additional space to workout and zone out.

Update- 7/2022
The gym is still well-run and very clean. It is difficult to get a decent workout however because of the lackadaisical attitude of most patrons. Please don't get me wrong- I'm not being "superior". But too many people come in too go "in" the gym, as opposed to "to" the gym. People come in and tie down the limited equipment to literally sit on it, or stand there guarding it, but not actually working out. At one point tonight in the 8pm hour, I counted 22 different machines that were occupied by people not remotely working out.

Again, this is not the fault of PF, but it is still possibly not worth your money and time as it constantly is as described. I only really come in during inclement weather or if my body needs a break from high impact workouts.
They are 24 hour Monday through Friday, but with a young child at home now I can't do the odd hours anymore. Looking in to other options after the summer.

Very good! I've been a part of this gym for going on 4 years, and never any major problems. The place is always clean, and very well kept. I usually go in the evening after 9: 00 p.m, so crowds tend to be nice and light. Due to covid, I choose to mask up. The crowd is typically about 60/40 0 unmasked to masked. None of the staff have been masked for quite some time, at least during the times I go. So if this is a factor for you, just be aware.

Excellent facilities, convenient location, lot of room and machines, clean, cool and friendly staff. BEST HOURS of any gym around.

Staff has always been friendly and pleasant. Place is kept clean. Equipment is in good shape and are usually in good working order. Peak hours are usually 5p-6: 30p and even still isn't obscenely crowded. Just seems this year, summer of '22, is extra crowded probably because they are offering free gym memberships to highschool age goers. I can usually get most of my workout in my normal hour there. I might have to skip a machine on rare occasion.

This gym has intensely fallen from grace in the last 6 months, it is officially the worst Planet Fitness I have ever been to!

Sketchy night time employees & unmonitored members in states of undress. After several years of perfection here I just canceled my membership. What a disgrace!
