Planet Fitness - Chambersburg, PA

I really like going to the gym but i can't now that masks are required. Looking forward to going back when the mask requirement is lifted!

It's ridiculous that we have to wear a mask to workout. Wearing a mask while exercising is not healthy and can cause respiratory and cardiovascular compromise.

Well run fitness center. Still have a few pieces of equipment not working for more than a week which is not good. Wipe down procedures were followed consistently as I saw it.so thats good. Pleasant service folks who were knowledgeable about their job. Also a plus. Disappointing that we had to go into the center to cancel or pause our membership. Thats a corporate thing and NOT good practice and needs to be changed. I buy and sell things every day from Amazon for more money and don't need to be physically present to do so as PF requires. Poor practice. They have good equipment and satisfactory tv coverage to help you pass the time when on the equipment. All in all, I would reconsider joining again when in better times.

We like that it clean and has the tv right in front of the treadmill and other areobic machines. Staff is friendly

Best Planet Fitness I've been too. I've been to Martinsburg, Frederick, Gaithersburg and even some in Texas. This is the best gym.

I have cancelled my membership and I will not be renewing it, It is ridiculous to work out with a mask on especially when you have health problems like I do! You go in there one week they tell you, your exempt it's okay and they make notes on your account then next time you go in there they tell you that's no longer acceptable you must have mask on at all times! Plus the lady behind the desk Amanda was one of the most rudest, snottiest people I have ever met there they call themselves a judge-free zone when all that lady did was judge me and then the company judges us! The company is one big hypocrite!

The girls working there are very rude. And don’t have any sense of customer service. They need to work on how they present themselves because what I saw was unprofessional people being disrespectful for no reason. I’m paying to workout not to get attitude by the workers as soon as I walk through the door. I thought it was a judgment free zone. Does that not include the workers?

Over all the facilities are accommodating. Plenty of equipment and tanning beds but they could do better with cleanliness. I think they are usually understaffed for the amount of foot traffic going through there.

Many of the TV's on the equipment are nonfunctional and it doesn't seem like anyone is addressing it.

You can come in and work out without feeling uncomfortable. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The other individuals that workout have always been very polite to be around

Friendly! Up to you what you make of it. No pressure. We loved it our age and physical health lead us to have to drop our membership for now.

We like Planet Fitness in Chambersburg. The staff there are friendly and helpful. The facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It is nice that Planet Fitness meets the needs of all ages, sizes and abilities. I highly recommend this place!

I love the fact that the gym is 24 hours so I can go as late as I want considering the fact that from about 4: 30-9: 30 the gym is usually packed. The staff is usually very friendly. My biggest complaint is the lack of a barebell rack. They only have smith machines which limits some of the exercises the I can do.

Best gym in the area. Staff very friendly and attentive to details. All areas of the gym and all equipment kept immaculately clean. If you're looking for a gym, look no further than THE PLANET!

Nice place, clean but it seems that is very acceptable for customers and some employees to hog 2-3 machines at the same time by leaving a water bottle or towel to save the machine. Once again 4/27/19 Someone monopolizing 3-4 cable stations at the same time, you should post a sign, one machine at a time

The staff are great and provide as much help as needed. Restroom and equipment are always clean. A very pleasant club to attend. I thank them all for their efforts.

We have been members for a bit and we love it. We do, of course, try to go during slower times of the day. During the busier times of the day, this place is extremely tough to enjoy. Bathrooms are clean and so is the equipment. The staff is also friendly.

The Planet Fitness Chambersburg is a great place to exercise. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. The facilities are always clean. The exercise equipment never fails and there are plenty of machines so there is no to very little wait time. I really enjoy Planet Fitness.

Planet Fitness is great for cardio with an abundance of machines however the free weight section is small and lacks of enough equipment to accommodate the most frequent users. Unless you are there early in the morning, mid afternoons are almost impossible to find an open bench which translates into waiting for equipment to free up, using circuit machines or skipping your free weight workout altogether. Otherwise it is a great place to work out and you can't beat the price.

It's a great gym! We'll maintained eqipument and clean with great staff. There are also plenty of machines so there isn't much waiting for what you need.
