Edited to add: when I asked Matthew for proof of something that he mailed he told me to call usps myself although he refused to provide tracking THEN accused me of throwing said mail away. I asked for someone else to speak to he again refused. Moments after this conversation he emailed me proof that I in fact DID NOT receive the parcel.

The fact his name is mentioned a few times in these reviews attests to his work ethic. It’s concerning when a business keeps on staff that are clearly not a culture fit.

Neighbors are hit or miss. Same with the office staff. The rent is definitely not justified. They took away the tennis court, put up a swing-less playground and that’s their only real amenity. The dog park is just two small rectangles. If you’re in building 1 be mindful of coming in and out of the lot as people don’t pay attention and also it’s just hard to see due to how they set it up. There’s roach problems. My neighbor that moved had an infestation and it took the people at akita to inform me. Dealt with roaches more than I’d prefer. The size of the apartment isn’t bad, I had a 2 bedroom but they are really outdated. They got the landlords special going on. Lebanon has a lot of private landlords or even real estate agencies with nice properties for less money and annoyance. The woman’s name in the leasing office slips me but she was always on point and kind regardless of the situation. Matthew on the other hand could probably use a few courses in customer care. He’s condescending in the worst way. He gives me second hand embarrassment and doesn’t seem fit for human interaction. I’m sure he’s on a list somewhere. Anytime I’ve asked to speak to someone above him regarding his behavior he refuses and states he’s the top. Which I have a hard time believing.

I've been here for 24 years, the office staff is friendly and the maintenance team responds to your needs of something happens to break or needs replaced or repaired.

I know that I sent in a review when I first moved in, but don’t let that fool you. The apartment is very spacious and the community is nice and the staff can be friendly. Just some on-site for those single parents…. If you get into the situation where you will need to apply for assistance to get help with rent they do not sign the forms if you get approved. I had gotten Covid like 3 times and was out of work here and there. They did work with me for awhile but fees add up and on my children’s first day of school they didn’t have a home to come home to and I’m still in the process of finding a home for us. You can’t get your things after business hours because nobody will be there to open the door for you so now I have to miss work and figure out a way to get my things. They raise the rent every year in which I do understand but at least for the older apartments they need to be fixed up first before raising them. I’m glad I’m a way I can finally move without paying thousands of dollars to move before my lease but this isn’t how I wanted to do this for my kids. Hope this helps….

Being a new tenant, I can only attest to my own situation. I have been a homeowner and finally decided that I don’t want to invest in renovations and maintenance of my property, so an apartment is the likely alternative. Considering that I have been commuting to Lancaster to work for the past 28 years, I had searched apartments in that area to find that the rent is higher for a smaller apartment, which did not have in unit laundry facilities. I am also familiar with this area and the many stores, restaurants, and other businesses in close proximity, as well as close access to Route 72. Every person’s situation is unique and while I hope that the negative reviews aren’t true or at least not unresolved, we must consider the alternatives to what may not be to our liking or if we are willing to pursue them. We’ve all heard the phrase “it is what it is” and the question is can we change it, or are we willing to change it. By human nature, we want the things that we don’t have, or shouldn’t have. To live at such an apartment facility, we sign an agreement with management, much like agreeing to work for an employer, whose policies we don’t always embrace. In either instance, we maintain a relationship with a business which we either cope with or move on. Thus far, I have no issues with this facility or management and I am hopeful that this will not change.

I personally wouldn't recommend this apartment complex. Not the worst place, but could be better. The apartments themselves are decent, but definitely not worth what they charge for rent. They raise the rent every year, I lived there for about two and a half years and the rent had gone up almost $300 since I first moved in. As for the staff, my experience with the maintenance staff was great, however the office staff could be better.
Had an experience where one of my neighbors was smoking cigarettes inside their apartment, which apparently is allowed, but the smell was coming into my apartment and I had an infant at the time. I complained to the office staff and they did nothing about it.

Scott (one of the maintenance workers) was out for personal reasons. Trevor was the other and only maintenance worker left. Instead of providing more support for the team, they did nothing. Trevor was left with the same rate of requests as before. In my case, the ceiling was leaking above the powder room as of 9/2/21. I called Altman Management Company, LLC in hopes for the company to give Trevor more support. All they did was welcoming Scott with an overwhelming amount of services requests. It took months until the ceiling was addressed (as in 1/21/22). The only ppl that I had a positive interaction were Scott, Trevor, Justin (maintenance), and Cassandra (former manager). I hope they all get better jobs where they’re treated with respect that matches their work ethic.

Moved in back in November, and have been happy ever since. I am conveniently located very close to everything. Maintenance and leasing office are very nice. I look at other apartments just to compare and I always think “well mine is better. ” it’s the perfect size for me!

Apartment itself is 3/5, maintenance staff (Scott, Trevor, and Justin) are incredible. Maintenance performance would improve if it consisted more workers, but that is not an area where Plaza invests in. Office staff is significantly unprofessional- especially in handling situations that would require them perform beyond their daily routine. It is strongly recommended not rent apartments that share the same building as the leasing office. It’s damp because of the attached water heater for the building. Buying a dehumidifier a must. Otherwise, mold forms on the ceiling and bedrooms near the bath. The office staff is more attentive to your comings and going’s than they are to troubleshooting during times of need. The IT support for the renters portal is nonexistent. Management’s enforcement of policy is inconsistent. There also has been a string of car break-ins in the complex, to which their solution was to make the maintenance staff come back at night for exactly one night.

Glad to be mutually parting ways with this complex.
