PNC Bank reviews
9I went to PNC bank in center city to cash a check written by them. I am not a customer so i ask customer service the free to cash my check. The man said $84 and they 2% fee to cash non member checks. The check was lil large it was my settlement check. The customer service guy kept asking to open account i told him there no bank in my area. I was so upset in the fee and the way they treated me he walked away fast i left
The customer service representative I got was new and the information they gave was wrong. Would never open a bank account with PNC again.
They have a coin depositing machine that accepts 99 coins at one time.
If you bring more than 99 coins (more than one deposit) a PNC representative will treat you like a jerk for potentially "jamming" the coin counter and then explain to you that it "recycles coins" and that the coin counting machine isn't designed to count coins.
I made it clear to the representative that I was mindfully making one deposit at a time, and giving the machine time to make each deposit, but she instructed me to cease deposits. I had about 1000 coins and was going to make 10 deposits, slowly, over time. You know, like a civilized human being. But I wasn't treated as such.
I left feeling humiliated and ignorant to what purpose their coin machine actually serves. I was treated as though I were an uncivilized ruffian bent on jamming their machine with my change for my own petty amusement.
Mind you, I was aware to PNCs claims of not having coin machines. But to have a machine that does just that, but doesn't handle any substantial amount capably seems, contradictory to its policies, as well as irrelevant to its partisans who wish to deposit their change.
Directly across the street is a Republic Bank that has a coin machine that happily counts all of your coins at once in seconds, for free and gives your the exact change that the teller.
If you wish for hospitality PNC doesn't offer any.
Is hard to find more excellent customer service!
Very nice people, tellers and managers are polite, nice and helpful.
When I'm there I feel like being "at home".
Very good service.
Thank you!
Called 4 times defeated in all attempts to speak to a human being every time; wasted 20 minutes of my life, and raised my BP for no reason!
Did get to listen to some 1950's muszak though!
On the fifth time I decided to say I was looking for a loan! The loan officer did help me!
Just tell the machine you want a loan no matter what!
Thanks PNC!
The security guard at the desk is rude as can be. I was making a deposit at the atm at 1: 54 am on february 5,2012 and he yelled at me like I was trying to do something but I was jus counting my money for a deposit. Very very rude. Will not do business here again. I thought this bank had friendly customer service but I guess not. Thanks for ruining it!
Extremely rude security guards.if you're going to ask or tell someone to remove their hat/hood do it in a nice way, and don't yell at them from across the room.that's disrespectful bruh
THIS BRANCH IS HORRIBLE! THERE ARE A FEW WORKERS/TELLERS WHO ARE EXCEPTIONAL! THE MANAGEMENT AND THE PEOPLE IN THE CUBICLES ARE NEVER BUSY AND DO NOT HELP AT ALL. THERE WILL BE A LINE OF AT LEAST 10 CUSTOMERS AND THEY DO NOT BAT AN EYE TO HELP OUT. UNACCEPTABLE. ALSO I WALK PAST 5 BANKS TO GET HERE!
I advise no one deal with their ATM's if you're looking at a balance. They charged me 1.50 per balance inquiry after I deposited my money into it.
