Stadium PNC Field reviews
18The stadium is clean and very well laid out.my issue is with the manner in which security handled or in this case mishandled
Great family fun for a great price even concessions are reasonable and great choices love champ and the old time player races
The staff was very friendly, the in game entertainment was terrible. The music is all pre-recorded. No live organist. No presentation of the colors befote the Star Spangled Banner. Childish sound effects made at the opposing team. The parking lot is still dirt. The scoreboard had sections that were not working. The weather was perfect, but not many in attendance. I probably won't attend any further games this season.
There was a baseball game at the stadium AND a concert at the amphitheater tonight (July 15,2022). We had tickets to the ball game but never made it. The road to the stadium was blocked by police who directed us to go up the mountain instead. They told us we could go up and around. LOL On that road we joined hundreds of concert goers in a non-moving line of cars. We never made it to the game. After one hour of sitting on the road and not moving, we turned around and went home. Sad. Someone has to do a much better job of controlling traffic when there is a ball game AND a concert on the same night. Waste of money on tickets we could not use.
Typical outrageous concession prices, coupled with a security "theatre" experience made for a mediocre time. A small wristlet allowed into the WBS Penguins is prohibited here. The Pens have 2-3x the fans and do a much better job at protecting their patrons.
Terrific stadium to go to. If you love baseball and the Yankees you'll love it. When you can you could walk around the whole field. See the game from different spots.
I have gone to several games and enjoy the park.
I contacted the pro shop about getting a customized Rail Riders jersey for a coworker who is retiring as a gift to commemorate his 36 years of service. The store manager told me to order it from the website. He assured me it would be made and delivered within a week.
I ordered the jersey online the same day. The next day I got a notice that the order had been cancelled. I called the store and spoke to another worker who took my name and phone number to pass on to the manager to return my call.
I never received a call back. I called the store an additional three times. I never got a call from the manager about the jersey and had to go through another retailer, Lids, to get the jersey.
Awful customer service and no way to treat a fan.
Great experience. I love the stadium, it's big enough to give the impression of a major league game but small enough so that the crowd is close. They have entertainment for the whole family at the games. Tickets are cheap. We sat behind home plate for $14. Also, this place has really good ballpark food and the beer was a decent price.
Love going to watch baseball games here. The remodel to the stadium was fantastic! Excellent food and amazing atmosphere. Fun for all ages. Highly recommend!
This is a cashless place. Which I personally think is wrong. I used my card at a food stand after paying I forgot to get something and I had to use it for a hotdog $4.50. Then later on I had to use it again for $5.00 and again for 2 ice creams $15 I had cash on me and I couldn't use it.
Not consistent with bag policy or what defines 'clutch' at gate. A clutch is allowed and a purse is not.up to each individual security person. Sun is in your eyes for evening games in the adult section.
The venue is a bit off the beaten path, but plenty of cheap parking. Beer selection was okay. If you want a food option more than blah ballpark concessions, eat before you go.
Amazing park. Our visit was a welcome surprise. Even though the game was rained out, the night was special. The action on the diamond and energy from the staff made the night. The fireworks were a wonderful way to end the night.
All around great time especially if you have kids playing baseball, players are cool only negative is its expensive and it's cashless, but other then the pricing it's and awsome time
We attended my daughter's high school graduation there. It was great because we didn't need tickets since there was plenty of room for everyone. It was great because they even had a concession stand open so we were able to get popcorn and soft pretzels and drinks when the little ones with us got bored:)
I had a lot of fun in the new ballpark. The last time I was there was 2006, my how things have changed! It definitely has a lot more activities for kids and families, there are different seat pricings as well as group outings & fun for the whole family. Now for the downside - 99.9% of the stadium is cashless! Even parking you need a credit or debit card (I find that a little uneasy but I'm sure they check all the devices for skimmers). This is very important, especially if you are going to the stadium for the first time you don't want to get stuck not being able to pick up your tickets cuz you don't have a credit or debit card. I'm thinking maybe this is because of what happened in the last 2 years, but I was fortunate enough to have a credit card with me - that would have been really embarrassing to be standing there with no ticket & no way to buy food or a drink! It is a tad pricey for food and such, but you can't blame them as the cost of everything is skyrocketing. I would advise bringing a snack or two to eat in the car before you go in. For women plastic see-through purses only, they will not let you win unless you have a see-through purse & it has to be small. I would suggest arriving early, traffic on a Friday night with the movie theater and shopping area nearby can be difficult at times. You will have a great time, it's fun to watch players who's next step is into the Major leagues! I think they still allow people to get autographs from players, but I would definitely look into that because of different protocols. If you have any doubts about anything feel free to call the stadium and they would be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you have!
We are from Chicago visiting feiends who recently moved from Chicago to Glenmaura, Moosic, PA. They took us to see the game and kids had so much fun at the game. Someone didn't like kids being kids and complained to the security. I was surprised to see that the security actually came to worn us. This place needs to relax a bit and learn what the real fans are. Come to Chicago, the best place to learn!
