Pocono Country Place reviews
14I bought a property in pocono country place in 2022. It's very peaceful and people seems to be taking good care of their homes. My only problem is the public safety gives people tickets for no reason. It happened to me with an public safety office named Demetrius. He technically picked on us and gave us a unnecessary ticket. Anyways, we moved and rented our property out because it seems like I gotta pay hoa along with unnecessary ticket. And when people run us off the road they do nothing about it. They pick and choose who they give tickets to. Won't be buying my next property in this community.
Oh no way.you need a pass to enter.stand on line for a lifetime, to give an autobiography,
Then you're locked in with all the undesirables/ criminals!
THEIR WHOLE SYSTEM IS OUTDATED WHEN SOMEONE CALL YOU IN A PASS ITS A LONG WAIT MAKE SURE YOU HAVE YOUR I. D AND VEHICLE REGISTRATION AND ALSO HAVE THE INFORMATION OF THE PROPERTY YOU ARE GOING TO
I love to travel. As much as Homeowners assoc are good for safety it's really a pain in the butt to have to stop, stand in line and have to check in. While I appreciate the safety, cleanliness, activities and other features of an association there are just way too many house and very close to each other. Would like more privacy for a getaway. Pictures are not always what they seem. Maybe should update pics. Guess I was looking for the Pocono cabin of long ago experience. Hate the feeling of being watched.
ANIMALS, DEERS AND CATS AND DOG, WAS FRIENDLY. THE SECURITY WAS WORTH IT. THEE HOUSE WAS CLEAN AND VERY NICE.
Ray working the front desk today around 1: 30 pm is very unprofessional. Attitude was poor and acted like he hates his job and doesn’t want to be there.
Stealing from another review, it’s like a gated trailer park! Will never stay there again!
A Pocono country Place
They should change the name to “A POCONO COUNTRY DUMP PLACE”
Don’t waste your time and money here. Many of the 4032 homes there are unkept. Siding falling off, so many people do not cut their grass, there are abandon cars, broken screens, and some of the yards have old junk and unused toys.
I really don’t know why they have an HOA. They charge $12 A DAY PER PERSON for the pool and the lake which includes two kayaks, and three paddle boats in only one of the two lakes and you are NOT allowed to have food or drink or water even on the beach. I was told by the manager it’s because they don’t want to clean up after people.
It may take 15 minutes to get in through the gate because someone may be registering there and you can’t get around them unless you are an owner with a card. They give you an antiquated paper to show a guard.
I’m not sure how safe this community really is because of the safety patrol that drives around, wear bullet proof vest and have guns.
Role-play and a waste of time. I’d never wanna be friends with anyone who lives in a development like this
Tranquility with plenty to do in and around the surrounding area. A great place to live. There are visitors and renters that bring occasional speed and noise, forgetting they came here for peace. Just classless. Don't know how to turn it down or off.
Stayed on the small lake, water was nice with good kayaking, the guards at the gate weren’t the most friendly and getting in can take some time. And to use the pool they charge $12 per person for rentals. Overall people were nice had a great time.
There is absolutely no reason behind tenants who pay dues to utilize the services are turned down because the machines to print out passes are not working it’s summer it’s a hot day that haven’t come too often this summer yet myself and children are not able to go to the pool. No alternative just disappointment and no one has answers as to why a day pass can’t be provided to PAYING tenants. I should not have to leave where I live to find a pool to go to.
Antiquated gate pass system - workers don’t seem to know how or have the technology for entering reservation info and/or looking it up. Lots are small, houses are very close together. Deer are everywhere = on lawns, in back yards, streets.
