Japanese Restaurant Pod reviews
29 The Pod has changed since my last visit, as well as have made some drastic changes to the menu, which made this visit- possibly my last! (Favorite drink no longer available) ; the Sea bass is not available; no reason for me to return
Nevertheless, if you are in the mood for sushi, it's still on point
The vegetarian options weren't very good, and the interior decor makes the place have a strange ambiance. That being said, the sushi was pretty good.
Sooooo so good. Went here after my niece's graduation with 5 other family members. We were all able to get something different and share it around the table. The desert menu is delicious. Our waitress was also super sweet.
Great end to a wonderful day.
Great food.amother great place toveat in the city. The place is unique. The menu is concise. The staff was friendly & helpful. The food came to the table in random order but the flow of food was steady from the kitchen to the table. I would say if you like asian fusion you need tovtry this place.
The staff was wonderful and the food was delicious! The only reason I'm not giving a 5/5 is because the restaurant really needs a fresh coat of paint. The aesthetic is "white" tables, chairs, walls, etc with LED accents, but the chairs have their paint worn off and the light fixtures look like they're from the early 2000's.
The toro was great as was Vanessa's service. This is a great place for date night or a celebration with a party in a "pod"
Service is fairly poor, cost is way too high. This place is made to abuse the large wallets of University students, specifically those who care more about the names of ingredients than the cost of the food.
Everything was just great! Went here for my birthday dinner and as a bit skeptical because I was not sure how everything would turn out. But to my surprise, I was blown away. The ramen was cooked to perfection and the appetizers were sooo good. It is a super cool atmosphere with the different color lights and open space, without feeling overcrowded. THis place is a must try!
