Poke Burri / Lifting Noodles Ramen reviews
18Good food, but they flat out lie on pick up times. 15 minutes…. Bs. Consistently. Last 5 times 40 minutes. Just be honest.
Wow, blown away! If your looking for a quick bite with a unique twist, or just some dang-good food this is it!
The Raman was EXCELLENT. The sushi burrito are as cool as they are good. Service is fast, portion sizes are great. Everything reasonablly priced, 12-15$ entrees.
Detour here now, you won't regret it!
First time here and ordered the SUPER Poke Bowl which has seasoned tuna, salmon, spicy tuna, crab salad, eel sauce, spicy mayo. It was DELISH! Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back to try their other menu items like burrito rolls, sushi pizza, sushi burger, and Ramen noodles.
I always get their Yakisoba with Chicken. I am a big fan. It's my go to plate if I don't know what I want for the day. I also like their poki bowls, (of course!). The Land and Sea, and the Tokyo fries are also good. It's also in a great location near hospital/university.
Went here for ramen before seeing Gorillaz at The Met. The interior design was cute and the servers were friendly. I loved the gluten free option for ramen! Haven't been able to have proper ramen since going gluten free, so that felt very refreshing.
Incredible food! Another one of those RUN, DON’T WALK kinda places. I’m a huge Asian food kinda woman. The sushi burritos are a 9/10 for me but I’m really here for the exotic sushi pizza, sushi donuts, and sushi crabby patties deep fried. Their menu is endless and I can’t get enough. Already ate there twice in the past 3 weeks. Planning my next trip back already.
Scratches an itch, but this is by no means good sushi or poke. They’ve created unique concepts like the sushi donut which are fun, but ultimately the rice is like a hockey puck.
If they can fuse quality of a flavorful rice at the right texture and lightness with even higher quality fish than they’re offering now - this could be the sushi chain everyone wants to eat at. Can easily imagine this place going international if they get the quality up.
Very creative and fresh cuisine. The poke pizza and donut blew our mind and were surprisingly good. For those who don't like spicy mayo, remember to request them to take that off.
I like the idea of sushi in the form of a burrito. I would definitely come back to try other dishes.
Great, fresh poke! The everything donut and Super Poke bowl were both delicious and the quality of the fish was superb.
Incredible poke! We got the bowls delivered by door dash on our way back from the beach and it was so refreshing and delicious. We will 1000% be back and trying the whole menu! 10/10 reccomended great product for the price
I ordered two dynamite spicy tuna and it was delicious. Lots of toppings in one poke bowl.
Definitely recommend to those who are looking for a convenient and fast sushi restaurant.
I don’t recommend this poke bowl if you don’t have any spice tolerance
I don’t know what is so good about this place but me and my sister keep coming back. This is by far our favorite place to go to (and kind of a tradition at this point whenever i visit phila). I always make my own and it always comes out perfect and I’m not sure how they do it but it’s so perfect. If you’re in the south street area and looking for some fantastic ramen noodles then don’t think twice before you give this place a try.
Tried the Penn Special Burrito Roll, something that was totally new for me but as someone who enjoys Shrimp Tempura Sushi Rolls, this in the form of a burrito was perfectly balanced and delicious!
Would recommend.
Crab salad & spicy tuna Sushi pizza is delish! I’ve had the sushi donuts as well and enjoyed. Everything is presented so pretty. I always enjoy my food whenever I pop in
The bowl consisted of too much sauce and the fish didn’t taste fresh. The salmon and tuna seemed like they were coated in syrup, which was really strange. Overall I wouldn’t come back for the price.
I love this place- the sushi donuts are so cute and taste so good. Get one with everything on them! The quality of the sushi fish has been consistently fresh. I ordered a poke bowl tonight, and it was so filling. I got extra protein (salmon) added to it so it was enough to eat some now and some later.
I think the person that took my order is named McKenzie, and they were super helpful in taking my order. I'll be returning (to try the ramen next!) and recommending.
