We hired Posh to cater our off-site wedding this past October. I'll begin with the disappointment we faced with the menu sampling, done on site at their restaurant in Scranton. I was originally told by Josh that we would be able to have a total of six people for the tasting, with the possibility of adding extra people at an additional cost. I confirmed with him over email that we would have eight total, and made the reservation for us to come in and try our menu items. The tasting comes along, and I could not believe how rude Josh was to me. Other members of my party arrived before me, and when I walked in before even INTRODUCING himself to me, he informed me that I had never told him to expect eight people and it would be impossible to do the tasting for that amount of people. I pulled up the email chain right there and showed him where I had expressed this information to him. Without saying anything, he walked away. We were all fed, so I assume it wasn't actually impossible. Nevertheless, he never came out to see what we thought about the food and never followed up by email. I had to reach out with changes. I wish now that we had found another local caterer and hadn't ignored these warning signs. But, we had used Posh for an on-site event before and they had done a fine job. We thought our wedding would be the same.

So, let's talk about the wedding reception. Josh had told us he would be out to the wedding site the day before to set up the catering tent and walk through specifics. This never happened. He didn't show up until right before the start of the event with very little communication leading up to his arrival. We had a number of designated power outlets that he requested for food warmers, and yet he used zero of these. The food was cold and the portions were miniscule. The short rib entrée at the sweetheart table was served without the sauce. Just a few small sliced (!) pieces of meat that were not tender enough to be called "five house braised short ribs. " I would have sent them back if we had been simply out for dinner, but the fact of the matter is that it took so incredibly long for the courses to be served to everyone and (after well over 90 minutes) I didn't want to spend any more of my wedding sitting at a table waiting for mediocre food. In hindsight, I wish I had taken photos of what we were served.

While our table was supposed to be served first, I had to ASK to be served both the pasta and salad course. We were told we had to be seated at our table in order to be served, and yet even with us sitting and not visiting with guests, I had to get up and ask a server to bring us a salad, as they had almost completely finished bringing salads to the rest of the tables. Unfortunately, since the service timeline was not observed and dinner took so long to finally make it to our table, we were unable to do the table rounds we had planned to do before the cake cutting. We missed out on being able to speak to all our guests because we were waiting for cold "short ribs" without the sauce. Not to write a diatribe, but if you are considering having them cater an off-site wedding, it is helpful to share what exactly you might miss out on.

In a review my mother left elsewhere, Josh responded that many guests stopped by his tent to complement the food. Out of all the vendors who were complemented by our guests to us, the caterer was NOT one of them. I can only assume that if this were true, our guests were doing this out of kindness and not because they were impressed by the quality of the service or the food.

We hired Posh/The Colonnade to cater our daughter's wedding and it is impossible to relay here in words just how extremely disappointed we are with them. The wedding was at a private event space and they were not prepared at all for this type of event service. The food was not only cold, but the portions were minuscule with guests leaving the event hungry! The pasta course consisted of ONE ravioli, ONE! The entrees were also very disappointing, plates being served 1/2 empty. The service timeline was also not observed with some guests not being served their meals up to an hour and a half later than when the first table was served - there were only 12 tables! Dessert was put out before all the meals were served, WHAT A NIGHTMARE! To add insult to injury they did not clean up as contracted, leaving the kitchen tent full of trash and half of the tables un-cleared! We had to clear dishes and food waste the next morning so the other vendors could come for their rented items. Josh did not visit as promised the Friday before or the morning of the wedding to check the tent and set-up, not arriving until right before the start of the event. In a nutshell, they were not prepared and it was evident. I am truly sorry that we trusted such a major event to Josh and do not recommend them if you wish to have your guests leaving your event well fed! We never blinked at the price quoted or asked for sub-par meals to be served. We did not get what we paid for in food or service!

I would like to thank Posh for providing an amazing meal and outstanding service for my nephew's and future- niece's engagement party at my home over the holiday weekend. Their accommodating and professional staff made hosting over 60 guests an effortless experience. Not to mention Josh and Paul put the finishing touches to my holiday decor. Wishing you and your team a wonderful holiday season!

We went here for mother's day and the food was simply AMAZING. I'm not a buffet type person but I figured I'd try it anyway. I'm glad I did! They had 3 rooms of food. Breakfast in one, lunch in the other and desserts in the hall between. The crab cakes were the best we've had and even the scrambled eggs were delicious. I'm used to them being soupy and flavorless. We are all looking forward to going back soon!

Lol what’s with the pretzels tho, why? Also if you want a steak, go to Texas Roadhouse or Outback. Very pretty place.

Had my baby shower here. While it wasn’t awful it wasn’t very good either. We were in a room so small it was hard to move around, we got the brunch package which was waffles bacon and eggs and the waffles were hard as a rock. Everyone put one on their plate but no one could actually eat it. There was supposed to be fruit muffins and juices out but they only put them out after we asked and they told us they didn’t put them out because there was no room, which yeah the room was that small. There was also two other events going on so it was like a nut house in there. Like it said it wasn’t awful but I do wish I chose to have my shower elsewhere. Would be ok if you’re having a shower with a max 20 people besides that I would definitely never recommend.you only get one shower and all anyone had to say about mine was it was so tight and the waffles were rock solid.: (

My husband and I went here for the first time for Sunday Brunch. Everything was amazing. Food was delicious and atmosphere was beautiful. Our server, Judy, was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be back!

Excellent ambiance, terrible food. We ordered the NY Strip Steak. One of the worse steaks I’ve ever had. Maybe pan-cooked?
The manager tried to make it better but the food was substandard by far

Ordered our apps and main course at 740pm. Apps came out in 10 min. Main course over an hour later. The Salmon BLT was very dry and hard. I ordered a steak with risotto. The steak was cold to the point that the butter wouldn't melt and I received fries instead of risotto. When I mentioned I ordered risotto, 5 min later I was told they were sold out. 2 tables came in 25 min after us received their food 25 min before we did. We were very disappointed in the food and service as the waiter couldn't even let us know the risotto was sold out until after the food arrived.

Chicken was raw and no flavor, the chicken was like half cooked then frozen then heated in a microwave, we couldn’t finish the meal, so pricy for a small raw chicken. Will never come back

I have to give them credit for seating me, brought out a spare table and set me up outside, the food was mediocre at best. My steak was well done and not even warm... Not sure how that works. The woman who seated me was quite nice.
This place needs a chef, not a bad cook
Nice looking place however

We went for the Valentines dinner and had never been there before but all the reviews were outstanding, so figured let’s try somewhere new. This was probably the worst experience. We weren’t being seated in the main dining room, but I already knew that and was okay with it. But after being seated, it took literally 20 minutes for someone to come to our table, as I watched the servers clearly check on everyone else. Another 15 for them to come back and actually take our order, and also forgetting only our tables complimentary pretzels that every other table got after being sat. It literally felt like our table was nonexistent. Maybe this isn’t how it’s like with normal dining, but as for trying to make it a special night and try somewhere new it just really ruined it.

Very nice atmosphere, great food, great service. Really enjoyed my dinner there. Only down side is prices are a bit high. Parking situation is not great, typical Scranton parking problems (never enough spots) which I believe is out of their control.
