Restaurant Potato Patch reviews
16I had not had the fries in quite a few years. They were not too bad but I think they were better I'm the past. The gravy was a little on the overcooked side.
The most incredible fries. Made it a point to come here after so many years away. I got the gravy on mine, but the cheese is really good too!
Had french fries from potato patch. I got fresh french fries but my friend got the end of the last container and they were cold and old. For the price they should have given him new potatoes. Also I remember them using very large potatoes to make extremely long french fries. I don't think they use those long potatoes anymore. Though I think you're paying for those big potatoes. Mine tasted good.
The Potato Patch remains the best cheese fries in the world. Thick hand cut fries and real cheddar cheese sauce (none of this nacho cheese on fries). I have to go whenever I'm at the park, and it's enough for a full meal. Lines are unsurprisingly always long, but move fairly fast. Plenty of seating in the area if the stand's own tables are full.
Something has changed, the food doesn't taste as good as it used to. Maybe they changed the oil they use but definitely not the historic potato patch
It's still the best in Kennywood - but Kennywood still isn't a place known for its food.
The fries are now made without any salt (to be kind to people on sodium restrictions), but there are plenty of salt options at the condiments station, so that's a change I'm willing to support.
Prices are now $10 for plain fries and $12 for cheese fries, and the servings are not that big. The same food price inflation has hit the rest of Kennywood too.
Loved the Fry's! Sooooo good! But the people on the register were so rude! Whatever just give me my Fry's with brown gravy!
Inside Kennywood park. Fresh made fries. You get a pretty big amount. You can get cheese with them. Line gets long but does move fast.
I Don't understand why I cannot receive a box to hold my loaded Potatoes Patch French fries. Without purchasing a second order! I'm not paying for box to hold my Loaded fries to spill all over the place also a side of cheese. And my drink I was going to purchase. This is what I was told my a girl employee On Sunday June 25th at 2pm. Never ever before have I had a problem since kennywood opened this year to receivea box to hold my fries. Until today she said no cardboard box without purchasing two fries! Well, I said you can keep those fries then and everything else! So ridiculous and upsetting! I'm paying enough for every thing else!
Much faster line than it used to be years ago. Not quite as good as they used to be to me but still amazing
It's fine but I don't understand the hype. I've gotten better fries elsewhere. If you're trapped inside the money pit that is Kennywood and you must eat immediately and can't leave to get a fairly priced meal, then it's acceptable.
Delicious! Whenever I go to Kennywood, this is the first place I go. Before any rides! LOL
This is located inside Kennywood park and it's fantastic fries, you can get them plain or with toppings like gravy, or my favorite cheese and bacon. You get one size and it's a lot so you better be hungry or bring some friends! It's all still done by hand, cut rinsed and fried. The long line tells you it's good!
The pop me and my mom got was completely flat and watered down tasted bad. The fries were good.
The fries were so good! I wish the malt vinegar was in a bottle, not packets. I took a star off the food because the pop was flat in the machine and it was empty of ice.
