I was born & raised in Erie and I never knew just how expansive this place was until I came home for a visit over Thanksgiving. I frequent many nurseries and greenhouses in Colorado, but none of them have the indoor plant selection that Potratz has. I was completely floored! I never knew all of those greenhouses were hiding behind the main building on Buffalo Road. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the tri-state area seeking a huge selection of houseplants!

My family has been going here for years and have always received the best service. They really know what they’re doing and were happy to help us every step of the way, answer all our questions, and even order a pot they didn’t carry in store. My dad got 3 new plants for his office and 2 employees specifically spent a lot of time making sure he got what he wanted. This photo is a panorama of the 3 plants in their new home! Their knowledge is impeccable and I’d recommend them to anyone. I’d recommend them over many many other places. Anyway, they’ve been in business for about 100 years we learned and for good reason. (Even gave me a free extra plant and few basil leaves to take home and that made my day!)

I came here today for the first time, and as a plant enthusiast, it was paradise. The staff were amazing, and I could’ve spent more than the hour and a half I did. I literally only made it through half of the greenhouses. I found plants there that I have been searching for years for, and I can’t wait to go back.

Called to order flowers for my daughter in Erie. Calling from New Hampshire. The sales person on the phone, Melody, was genuinely interested in what brought my daughter to Erie and helped me with a kind and helpful manner.

Flower arrangement was exactly what I was hoping for my daughter. Her colors and real variety of flowers. Arrangement was beautiful. I am very happy and so was my daughter.

Easy to work with, great pricing, and beautiful flowers. Downside, despite sending an email and 2 meetings the brides bouquet was not the asymmetrical with blush and white that was discussed. 3 of the boutineers the white rose fell out and had to be safety pinned in, after only an hours wear. I would use them again but provide printed pictures if I had a specific idea in mind. We did look at Pinterest pictures but did not print them out, next time print.

Potratz Floral Staff. You truly are AWESOME! Last week Mothers Day Weekend. I called Saturday the 11th of May. Yes you may think last minute but I had lost my debit card, Thank God my new one arrived Saturday. You see I live in Oregon so that puts us 3 hours behind you. I called and they had run out of fresh cut flowers. They wouldn't be able to deliver until Monday. I said ok. I was put on hold. When this wonderful lady came back on the phone, she said if I would like to get my Mom a dozen of Roses that they would be able to deliver them that day. I said yes!
Well needless to say My Mom called me on Saturday late afternoon to tell me Thank You and that the Roses were Beautiful. I knew they would be.
Thank You Thank You Oh So very much.
I Cannot Tell You How Much this meant to me. You see My Mom is dying of Cancer and this will be her last Mothers Day. And Your Staff went above and beyond to help me. Thank You Again!

So many great varieties of pretty much any plant you can omagine! And the staff is so knowledgeable!

Potratz is a great greenhouse filled to the brim with an unbelievable selection of plants. Always a new find evertime I go!

I am originally from Erie but moved to Buffalo several years ago with family still living in Erie. I purchased 2 flower arrangements for Easter for my mom online and the website was very easy to use and provided in depth detail of what i was purchasing as well as provided a wide variety of options. I received a call the next morning confirming my order and asking if it was okay to substitute a flower since they were out of one type, which was completely fine. The staff was very friendly and provided all the information i needed. To my surprise, the delivery was done by someone dressed as an East Bunny and my mom absolutely loved it.all aspects of this process was handled perfectly and was extremely professional. My mom was very happy with the arrangements and even had her neighbors come over to see them throughout the week. I would highly recommend this floral shop and will be using them again in the future.

The best assortment of indoor plants, hands down, in the Erie area. Their greenhouses are PACKED but set up in a way that makes sense so you're able to find the variety you may be going in to look for. I also will not purchase bouquets and arrangements from any other establishment other than Potratz. I have been disappointed by a few other establishments in the area, and I have found that you get what you pay for: and with Potratz you get the best!

Great customer service and reasonable prices. They found us exactly what we were looking for in the greenhouse. And we got to pet the cat in the floral shop.

They take great care of their plants (you pay for quality, not cheapy Walmart plants) and the people there are super helpful and answer any question you ask.

Always a wonderful place to go.so much to see. The staff is great. I cant leave without buying something.

Potratz Floral did a fantastic job for this past Easter. I live in Oregon, my Mom lives in Erie. I ordered flowers for My Mom & My Aunt. Not only was the fresh flower bouquet "Stunning" and "huge" the Easter Bunny delivered it.

This is my favorite floral shop! Everyone is always helpful, nice and very knowledgeable. There is always something new and their prices are very reasonable.
