Pottsville Oral Surgery

I called because I was referred by my dentist. Megan answered the phone and she was hostile and aggressive. It was completely unwarranted. I called because I was in pain and needed an appointment. I did not need to be treated so horribly. I really wish I had never called. I wish I had seen the reviews before I called, then maybe I would have been more prepared for her hostility. I will go to the ER before I go here for their services.

After reading the review about the girls up front being rude I was nervous about coming here. But let me tell you they were all nice and great Answered everything question. I was in and out of mouth surgery within 30 mins and I had 4 teeth taken. If I ever need a oral surgeon again I will be back.

I’ve taken 3 kids here now, for wisdom teeth removal. Dealt with staff issues every time, however, the surgeon has been great and their in and out process has been efficient. Now today, I take my 4th child, my step daughter. I check in, fill out the new patient paperwork, go to turn it in and I’m informed that a biological parent must be present for the consult and to schedule surgery. I guess children without biological parents don’t qualify to get their wisdom teeth out. Most of the staff must have lost their wisdom teeth because their is very little wisdom and common sense floating around in this practice. I don’t know, the retarded policies are getting old. They could’ve gotten verbal approval from mom, over the phone. A huge lack of intelligent life exists here.

If my wisdom teeth were rotting my entire mouth to the point where I would soon undergo a long and brutal death and this was the only option to get them removed, I would take the slow painful death.

Got a tooth removed the dentist was rough and now the pain has lasted for a week and they dont prescribe any pain medication

My son had this wisdom teeth taken out today. Dr. Horowitz did a wonderful job. Everything is going very well and my son is in very minimal discomfort. Understandably. Thank you all very much! And thank you Dr for calling to check up on our son. It was very nice of you to check on him yourself. I will definitely be referring your office to others.

The staff is completely unprofessional and rude. Go elsewhere if you have a chance. The nurses have no bedside manner and, quite frankly, a canine related word best describes them. You will get hassled about insurance and they are not willing to work with government related insurance such as CHAMPVA. Anesthesiologist is a complete jerk. My daughter winced a bit when he began and he rudely said “ well, do you want to stay awake for this? ” to a teenage girl who was obviously scared. The worst thing is that the doctor is completely ambivalent about his rude staff. Find someplace else in Hazleton, Hamburg, Reading, Allentown, or wherever.

Had a wisdom tooth extraction today. I was extremely impressed with the staff and the Doctor. I would recomend this Doctor to anyone.
Had all my questions answered and they made me feel very comfortable. Thank you to all the staff and especially Dr. Horowitz at a Pottsville Oral Surgery.

So I gave it 5 stars because I honestly really like the doctor. I mean that’s what you go there for the doctor. He just recently did a sinus lift, and he did an awesome job!
However, the staff is absolutely horrible. If you can look past the staff and only care about the doctor you should be fine. He is honest and very nice.
