I’ve been a patient of Dr. Joe Pasquino of Premiere Medical Associates for the past 14 months. During my initial consultation we discussed a course of treatment for a damaged toenail. Over the next two visits we unsuccessfully tried three methods of treatment. Our final option was to permanently remove the nail. October 26th was appointment #4 and nail removal day. Unfortunately, I was told by Dr. Joe Pasquino that he didn’t have enough time to perform the procedure. I was surprised by his statement due to the fact I scheduled an appointment to have my nail permanently removed during this visit. I brought this to Dr. Joe Pasquino’s attention and was told he needed a 40-minute time slot instead of 30 minutes. I also inquired about my Co-Pay that was just processed by his Office Manager. I asked if my Co-Pay was going to be rolled over to my next visit since scheduling made an error by not allotting enough time. Dr. Joe Pasquino stated, “I’m just hired help and only working here”. He informed me that scheduling would have no idea to schedule 40 minutes since they are not in his office and may be located anywhere. I couldn’t have been more transparent when I scheduled this procedure. Post appointment notes on my digital file state Vitals were performed and data was listed. My weight was taken; however, no height was measured, no blood pressure was checked, and no heat rate was monitored. Dr. Joseph Pasquino’s Summary Notes included a very well rounded 30-minute consultation, which is not quite accurate. I’ve seen customer service decline significantly over the past few years; however, I never expected a Medical Professional to tell me “I’m just hired help and only working here. ” If Dr. Joe Pasquino is an employee, Premiere Medical Associates should reevaluate who they are hiring. Has Dr. Joe Pasquino and Premiere Medical Associates reduced patient care to a time slot, a number and inaccurate health data?

I called to schedule an appointment, spoke with Lisa and her office manager Jaime. Lisa was very rude and of course her office manager made an excuse for her. The experience was bad. Jaime apologize after going back and forth with me.

My name is Andrea. I had previously made an appointment with Premier medical associates in Monroeville Pennsylvania and had to cancel my appointment due to a family emergency an hour before the scheduled time. Since it was a year ago, I honestly do not remember scheduling another appointment however I'm sure if I did make another appointment, I would have for sure called and given as much time as I could to cancel the appointment. I attempted to call Premier medical today to schedule appointment for a severe chronic pain I've been having when the scheduler politely told me that I was no longer able to schedule appointments with Premier medical associates because I was a "no -show" to an appointment in the past. I was obviously very confused and to my knowledge I have never been seen by this medical group before in the past so I asked to speak to a manager so I could clear up the issue. Immediately a rude lady who claim to be the manager of the practice got on the phone with me and told me that she was not willing to schedule an appointment with me because her computer system showed that a year ago, I did not show up to an appointment and it was a waste of the doctors time and money.so I'm going to start off by saying that as a reasonable human being without any professional knowledge or common sense I can realistically understand that it is an inconvenience for all parties involved to have someone not show up to a scheduled appointment. So that was blatantly a rude and offensive statement coming from the woman who claimed to be in charge of the office. However I very politely explained to her that her system is not a perfect one and could perhaps be flawed. As I've stated before this was over a year ago so I'm not exactly sure what happened in this case but I can assure anyone that my track record is not that I would schedule something and then knowingly not show up to the appointment. When you were in a job dealing with the public there are unfortunately going to be moments where things do not work out exactly as planned. Especially when you choose the profession of healthcare. It doesn't matter to me if you make $20,000 a year or $250,000 a year. Everyone's job matters and everyone's time matters and someone could really have a true emergency with a family member or something going on in their life which could have caused them to miss a scheduled appointment truly by accident. It is mind-boggling to me that someone could say one strike and you're out to a patient when they're in the profession of helping people and having sympathy and empathy and compassion. I'm sure there has been people in the past that have made appointments and have missed them on multiple occasions and I know that that is frustrating and I'm sure there needs to be policies in place they can stop that from happening as much as possible. But having doctors and my immediate family I am also aware that sometimes there is nothing you can do about missed appointments and to refuse someone service that missed one appointment and then be so blatantly rude and uncaring to that person about it when they are telling you that that is not the case is simply shocking for lack of a better word but having doctors and my immediate family I am also aware that sometimes there is nothing you can do about missed appointments and to refuse someone service that missed one appointment and then be so blatantly rude and uncaring to that person about it when they are telling you that that is not the case is simply shocking for lack of a better word. I believe that if this representative that I spoke with who claims to be the manager of premier medical internal medicine Is the true voice of this medical practice, then I say shame on premier medical associates. You guys should be in a field where you can work a simple 9 to 5 with no distractions. A profession where nothing comes up and there are no misunderstandings. A job where your empathy and caring demeanor would not matter. Because I can assure you the medical field is not one of such things.

It was one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. People were rude, didn't do what they said they would do, wasted my time.

Want to become invisible? Walk into the Imaging center. The most smug, rude girls I have ever encountered. Literally sat without being greeted. Had to check the board to see my name was scratched off so I knew they saw me. Never again!
