Premier Orthopaedics reviews
5After something like a dozen sessions, returned to the Ortho Dr, who said that the exercises being done at this PT were not correct, and the problem persists. This place was a bit of a patient factory - a lot of assigning you tasks and then going to work with other patients, not a lot of 1: 1 attention and focus. Unfortunately, we have to start over at another PT.
After reading the reviews of this place I noticed a trend of basically the same service So I am going to share my experience.
I went to here and the woman on my first visit was very knowledgeable and identified the issues right away. She stated that I would probably need to come in once a week to get stretched and build strength for a few weeks.
The charge for this was over $350. She gave me some stretches to do at home throughout week. On my first return visit a young girl told me to do my stretches and walked away. After about 10 minutes I asked her if she was ready to help me rehab my leg.
She then told me to finish the stretches that I’ve been doing at home and said I could go home I was finished, This cost me $350 out of pocket My second visit was about the same as my first visit and that cost me another $350 out of pocket. After my third and final visit That cost me $350 out of pocket of the young girl just telling me to do my same stretches I have been doing for the past four weeks I decided not to go back for a fourth visit. I couldn’t believe that this place would charge me to come in and do the same stretches I was doing at home. With no assisted stretching or massage therapy to straighten my leg out. I went to a company called stretch zone they completely stretched my leg and help me strengthen it to the point where I can now walk straight without any pain and they only charged me $40 a visit. This place is a scam and a rip off That over-books their schedule and will not Give you the attention that you need.
I was also shuffled from one therapist to another every appointment. One time they just handed me my sheet and I did the whole session myself. Right after I paid off my bill they sent me another invoice that is charging me for closing my account. I tried to to ask about the bill and the person on the phone was very angry.
I am experiencing a good time here compared to previous therapy places. It is important when recovering from setbacks to have emotional as well as physical support and they are providing that here.
What a joke. Every time I went I was shuffled off to someone new. I even had to ask for what I should be doing at home. They looked bewildered when I asked that question. Huge waste of money. I could have gone once and they could have given me a sheet of at home exercises. Go to a real physical therapist with individual attention.
