2 Pretty nice overall vibe.
I was here to walk around the walking path with my good friend and his wife. I would rate this place pretty high on the chill scale. Not far from Downtown Pittsburgh, in typical fashion you feel out in the country a few minutes from downtown. Preservation Park is located in the Oakdale suburban area. Park is also at the top of a hill. The walkway is all asphalt and is approximately a 1/3 mile loop. It is a relatively scenic area. Surrounded by, trees, fields, farms, etc. We met for a walk in the fall and looking around the area was very nice. I would definitely walk here again.
Really great, mostly flat, paved walkway. It's a half mile loop, so you can regulate how far you want to go by how many trips around you take. It's not unusual for dog owners to have their dogs off leash at times, so have some readiness for that.
