Price Rite Marketplace of Reading reviews
17Pleasant and clean never overcrowded.except on foodstamp/EBT week.then turns into a rodeo.produce well stocked.much variety.love the self checkouts. & mix nut section
I have a disability and use a walker, and the way the employees are willing and graciously able to assist these of us is almost unbelievable and unheard of.thank you Jesus that there are people with your heart in this world! ️
Omg call the police or the health department. Smh I heard rats in East Coast, but was not told they also go shopping. Don't believe just get their own surveillance system.
For about the 8th time this year, I brought home meat from this Price Rite in Reading to find that it was rotten. The date wasn't anywhere near expiration, but the meat is tainted, sour smelling, and gross. Never have this problem in other stores.
They never have cashier's here. It takes so much time to scan and bag your food on that tiny line. You could have a cart full of groceries and they still won't put a cashier on the register
Pretty clean.food is at a good price.as for the workers. I guess like every other place.there are some nice employees and some rude ones as well.but if ur looking for a good deal and want to save a couple dollars this is a good store to do grocery shopping!
Good prices even better when there are deals. Must bring your own bag, but they do sell bags if you need. They added more self checkout registers which is great, but they need more employees.
Selection is spot on, and customer service was as well. Just as professional a grocery store as I remember it being years ago.
I used to shop there all the time. Now its a hassle. Self checkout reallllly? With all the items i have in thy cart. And hardly anyone working there! No assistant just one lonely cashier telling you to self check out. Hell no smh
This used to have such a neat outdoors. Filthy carts all over with trash in them. I am so upset and disappointed at its initial appearance.
The manger was very rude to my family over him having a medical issue of not being able to wear a mask. She only targeted him there was four others without masks
How bout you hire some cashiers. I went there a couple days ago and there was not one cashier and a very big line waiting to go to self check out and only one staff. Seems like they’re cutting corners trying to save some money.
Not bad prices. Sometimes they dont have the same items on a weekly basis. I stay away from their meats though. Had a couple bad experience with hamburger and pork.
Best place to shop in the area. Super cheap prices. They are a discount store so keep in mind that they don't always have everything you are looking for.
They need to check the expiration dates on the prepackaged meats and items I ended up throwing sandwich meats the very same day over 2 weeks expired and if I didnt live so far I would've went back just to complain
Price Rite Marketplace of Reading is a great smaller, somewhat limited supermarket from the folks at ShopRite. The store carried nearly all types of items you'd expect to find in a full-sized supermarket; there simply are fewer brands and sizes of products than a typical supermarket. A high-quality generic labeled as Price Rite brand or one of ShopRite's generic labels.
The name brands stocked as well as the generic products sold here are of rather high quality, especially for a discount supermarket, and most products here are well-priced. Most notably, good quality produce (not always picture-perfect and unblemished in appearance, but nice-looking and flavorful in most cases) is sold for competitive, if not inexpensive, prices. My family does a lot of shopping here, and we believe that buying a significant portion of our week's groceries here does save us money.
You'll be glad you stopped to check out this supermarket! It's worth a walk-through if you have never been there.
