Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar Allison Park reviews
16This location is very pleasant with lots of natural light. They have other food besides their classic sandwich. The wings in particular are good.
The staff was awesome but once again the plague of over loud stereo and crowd hindered the over all want to return anytime soon. But our order was correct with multiple changes and the drink orders were prompt from the bar.
Didn't stay as they get their bread from Mancini's.who uses Lard in their baking.ugh.
It was a good sandwich until about halfway through there was a bug in my food. The sad part was that this was my first time at this resturant. Ruined the experience for me completely. I'm in the food service industry and I am very disappointed in the hygiene of their kitchen.
Say there for over 20 mins no one ever came over to take even our drink order or day someone will be with you soon nothing just kept walking past us so we walked out
Always an awesome experience at the Allison Park Primanti's. Shannon was an amazing server!
We live nearby, love this place, and really tried hard during the pandemic to support local restaurants. But our experience on 8/29 at the Allison Park location was terrible. We were quoted 20 minutes for a party of 5 at 5: 45 pm. I checked in after waiting for 30 minutes and seeing over a dozen empty tables. The response was, “Sorry, the kitchen got slammed. If we seated you there now it would be 2 hours before you get your food. ” I asked if I should just leave, but the dudes working the desk said no and that there was just 1 party in front of us and it shouldn’t be long. After waiting another 25 minutes without so much as a nod, I asked to speak to a manger. She apologized for being under quoted. But that was it. No offer to do anything about it. Not even an appetizer or a drink while we wait. Very disappointing to see a local institution like Primatis lose its way. It will be a long time before we come back.
Great place to socialize with friends, amazing ascetic, and even better food. HIGHLY recommend the BBQ Bacon Burger, best item on the menu, unless you are in the mood for some of the best wings around! This place is full of fun and great times, especially if you become a regular and get to know the staff!
Our waitress, Jennifer, made all the difference. The food was good as always but the great service we received made it all the better.
We appreciate better than average service and we tip accordingly. I would encourage anyone who dines out these days to reward good service by tipping your server accordingly.
I love this place. Every time I'm in PA I stop hear for lunch. The staff is awesome and the sandwiches are amazing. I highly recommend eating at any of Primanti Bros.
Everything was so good! The sandwiches were huge and fresh! They were also great about accommodating my 5month old in his car carrier.
The waitress was not very with it, didn't seem to know the menu, never asked if I i wanted another drink. The sandwich was delish! The Zucchini was good too. My cousin asked for extra horse radish sauce on the side, when nnn it came it didn't look like it should, we tasted it and although we could taste horse radish, it didn't taste or look good. I asked the waitress if she brought the right sauce. She just looked at it and said, "Uh huh. "
Great experience. Excellent service. Alexa Went "above & beyond" in serving our group of 4 at the bar. Went for lunch. Stayed for drinks. Hope to return soon. Maybe on the weekend.
A Pittsburgh favorite for a reason! My wife and I will grab a drink a sandwich (or pizza in her case) and an appetizer and come in around $30. The food is great and the staff is always nice and on top of things (never have to wonder where your waiter/waitress went when you need a refill). This is one of our favorite local places to grab a quick bite!
Nice menu here - lots of appetizers, sandwiches are crazy big (don't forget you get slaw and fries on your sandwich), pizzas, and wings. Bar has a lot of beers and other mixed drinks available.
I don't eat out a ton, but a few weeks ago met a friend for lunch and had a yummy salad at Primantis in Allison Park. Fine service, good food. But then, tonight I was craving a good chicken salad so I called them and ordered it. Specifically asked for their steak salad with crumbled blue, but to please replace the steak with grilled chicken. I made sure that they knew it was not their standard chicken salad with corn but their steak salad but with chicken. Now I know it's a difficult job to take orders over the phone? But how disappointing it was when I got home and they of course had given me their grilled chicken salad with corn. And no crumble blue cheese. I will not be ordering out from them again!
