Primanti Bros. Restaurant and Bar inside PIT Airport reviews
15One of the best Primanti experiences and one of the best pastrami and cheese sandwiches in years. Kayla was an awesome server and was lighting fast. Great job!
Stopped by the airport location on my way home from the Steelers game, at the urging of a couple of Uber drivers. I'm glad I did. The service and food was top notch! I enjoyed the turkey primanti, and the amount of turkey on it was massive. Definately a must visit when in Pittsburgh!
Just as good as any Primanti's. We had a nice visit here before our flight. Amy was incredibly friendly, sociable and funny.
I was surprised their signature Pittsburger came out ice cold. The fries and patty were literally cold to the touch, like they had just been taken out of a refrigerator. Needless to say, cold fries are never the vibe. Maybe I’m wrong and their burgers are supposed to be served ice cold. I could only manage to push through half of the sandwich before giving up. Maybe their grill was broken?
Food and service were excellent! Our server even anticipated some of our needs. We love Primanti Bros! Always a must when we visit our hometown!
You want to know what is more refreshing than a Mule in a proper copper cup and a “good effing sandwich”? A server that’s not completely miserable! As someone who frequents airport restaurants and late night bar spots looking for food and a spot to get some work done, it’s a rare find. AMY completely made my day with her “Happy Friday” greeting, smile and positive attitude! The food could have been subpar (it wasn’t!) and she would have still made me enjoy my visit to this airport installment of a Pittsburgh staple. I walked in a rookie, being told by my his husband I HAD to find a Primanti Brothers before I left town. I had already selected the Ruben when Amy walked up and confirmed I made the right choice. Fries ON the sandwich? Okay let’s try this. It was delicious! The sandwich was HUGE and I still found myself ordering a side of fries after it was all said and done, because they were that good! If you are passing through PIT and have time for a QUICK sit, I highly recommend this place, especially if you can sit at Amy’s tables.
As a former Pittsburgher I had to get my steak salad fix before I left. The service was fantastic and my food came out really fast. The prices happen to be super reasonable compared to many other airport restaurants. If you're looking for a reasonable place for a quick bite and beer before your flight I would recommend.
You didn’t visit Pittsburgh, they say, unless you’ve been to a Primanti Bros. Well, I wasn’t really in Pittsburgh was I? I was in the mountains east of Pittsburgh… I’m glad there was a Primanti Bros.inside the Pittsburgh airport seeing as how I was flying out of the Pittsburgh airport. Anyways, all that aside, the sammich was good, service was excellent and the value was on par.
Do you really want to leave Pittsburgh without trying this rueben? ! It's a take on the classic adding pastrami to the meat mix, fries, and slathered with horseradish parmesan sauce. Tell your diet, "sorry, not sorry" and order away! Our server, Amy was nothing short of amazing.
Great service and food! Amy, my server recommended the Capone. It was delicious. To think I was considering ordering a salad. Thank you Amy!
Really enjoyed the When Pigs Fly and a Bloody Mary before my flight home. Feeling pretty confident that I'll be fully sustained throughout the duration of my travels. Also best bang for your buck airport eating dollar wise.
Note to management: the quality of the bread is a critical element in a sandwich. Unfortunately, the taste and texture of the bread in these sandwiches resembles the output of a prison commissary. Disappointing given that the sandwich filling was good.
21 years old wouldn’t serve me a beer because my brother was at the table who was underage. “State rule” and the waitress and bar tenders were extremely rude about it. Horrible experience and ridiculous rule to follow even if it is a state rule ridiculous.
Amy Amy Amy! She was AMAZING! I want to book another flight just to come back to see her. She was a delight! Thank you so much for your incredible service and fun personality! We will be back!
