Primo Hoagies reviews
26 I placed an order for delivery today at 11: 30am, which was supposed to be delivered at 12: 15pm. Order was for several sandwiches. It did not show up. I tried calling the store at 12: 15pm for an update, however the phone just rings and goes to a voicemail box that is full. I tried calling for over an hour, until I walked to the store myself to pick up my order over 2 hours after it was supposed to be delivered. They told me it was placed on the pickup table by mistake.
I spoke with the manager, who told me that I would get a free sandwich the next time I call. Except they do not answer the phone to take phone orders. Terrible customer service all around.
First time having Primo Hoagies and it was ok nothing to really brag about, I order an Italian hoagie with the works to go. It was definitely a bit pricey for a 9” roll, anyways me personally I think it was a bit of a skimpy hoagie and the roll to me is the best part but was slightly stale in my opinion not sure if that was because I went on a Sunday. I guess I had high expectations for my first visit here.
My order was not right food was not right won’t go again
I will just stick with 15th and Ritner
Best rolls! Great deli meats, meatball and cutlet sandwiches. I highly recommend turkey schwartzie and chicken parm sandwiches
Got an Italian with the works. Outstanding! Deli meats freshly sliced, great seeded crispy roll. Right amount of seasoning. Highly recommend! I will be going back. A little pricey, but we'll worth it.
I like the place. But no bathroom no hand sanitizer no bottles of water. No hand sanitizer behind the counter. Some management issues going on.
This place is absolutely one of my favorites. This place has an awesome atmosphere. I can see why they have so many reviews.
It’s this location that’s terrible not the Primo Hoagies in general. I’ve tried Primo Hoagies in Mt Laurel, NJ for the first time a month ago; it was excellent and made with care. I went home and raved about it and even said you guys beat Ricci’s hoagies. However, I visited the Philadelphia location on 11th St.today, it was horrible. It started with my pickup experience. The girl at the front was on FaceTime with her friend and completely ignored my presence for the first minute I was there then told the person to hold on and finally asked how could she help me. Very rude and inconsiderate. I suggest you guys consider who you hire to keep the quality and reputation consistent across all of your stores. The hoagie definitely did not taste the same and was just thrown together and very sloppy. Unlike the NJ location. I’m not surprised. Definitely was not worth the money and I will never visit again. It’s sad that certain people can ruin an establishment. I’m talking about the hoagie preparers as well. This isn’t McDonald’s and I paid $29 for 2 hoagies that didn’t even have the extra meat I asked for. I’ll take a trip to the Nj location if I decide to eat at Primos again.
My experience was horrible. The hogies I ordered was disgusting. I noticed this when I got home. The bread was hard as a rock. I asked for extra mayo and pickles didn't get that. Very little meat. Tomatoes and pickles were bad. I ask the cashier why roll was so hard they said that's the specific hogie roll texture. Come to find out it was stale. They charged a high price and gave us bad food and service! Think twice people
The staff was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious!
Quick, easy ordering. Clean safe protocols in place.
While the service was prompt and my cashier was polite, due to her lack of math skills I almost got the wrong change.
I love the way primo prepares my hoagie. Always taste very good and fresh. I visit the 11th street location at least once every two weeks.
The girl at the counter would rather play on her cell phone then take customers orders. This place is very bad as far as speed and customer service is concerned. I will not be coming back to this location.what a shame.i love the sandwiches to. I'd recommend hiring a staff that can handle the lunch time rush. And I'd most definitely hire a new counter person.ya know.one that actually takes your orders as opposed to playing on her phone.
These hoagies are exceptional. And you won't find a menu with more selections than Primo's. Highly recommended.
Primos hoagies always seem like a good idea for lunch to me. My only problem with this location is sometimes they dont seem to listen. I ask for my hoagie cut in half they dont. I say no oil i get oil and sometimes the hoagie is put together rather sloppy. But on the upside they are fast and friendly. So i take the good with the bad.
I typically love Primos, but after the experience at this one I will not return. Ordered a Bada Boom Primo size and the cashier said only a couple minutes wait and 10 people came in after me (only 2 people in front of me). 8 people received their order so I asked for an update and she looked at me and with a negative tone stated it is only a few minutes. At 20 minutes the two people in front of me and all 10 after me received their order and I was still waiting. I go up and request to cancel my order since I only have a half hour lunch. They said only a few more minutes I don't understand (still negative tone speaking down to me). They said they had to cook the chicken to which I informed them that you said only a couple minutes instead of telling me there would be a delay. Needless to say I will not return since I sat for over 20 minutes, I was talked down to, and they could have simply asked if I wanted to wait for the chicken to cook or order something else.
Love primos, actually my favorite hoagie in philly. Just called feb 26th at 645pm and when the woman picked up she said they were closed. I understand wanting to close at the end of a shift but when you post your hours that you’ll be open until 7pm you should keep that promuse. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth for a place I like so much. Very disappointed.
Worse sandwich I have ever been to. I go the Primos in Fishtown and Chester Springs often. They are the best. The one on 11th Street is one of the worse sandwich shops in general that I have ever been in. Asked for a tuna delight. Refused to add mayo to the tuna, everyone else does. Did not drain the roasted peppers. There was so much liquid in the sandwich that the tuna was dry, but the roll was soggy and it was all liquid draining from the roll from the mayo and the peppers. Awful combination.
Average setting but the hoagies are one of the best in the city compared to other Primo's and hoagie shops.
After many they haven't failed me yet.
This store sucks ass, not once not twice but 4 times since I've went to this location i ask do they have non seeded rolls? I was told on every instance yes we do I sit and wait then several minutes go by the clerk says " oh I was just informed we don't have them" like really tell me anything you should know what you are selling and be more courteous to your customers. Never again
