Sandwich Shop PrimoHoagies reviews
9Bada Boom with Diablo Cayan Powder is what I always order. Friendly staff and great tasting food. Recommend any time!
I can't get enough of the hoagies at Primo. I'm from Pittsburgh and every time I visit, I pick up a sandwich or two from the location by the Paoli train station. Super variety of sandwiches, including some healthy options. But to heck with that. Try a turkey Schwartzie, or chicken parm, or Old Fashioned Meatball. The best! The rolls are freshly baked and generously packed with the sandwich or your choosing. The cheesesteaks get all of the publicity in Philadelphia, but I prefer Primos.
This place makes some really great hoagies. This particular location is a small store and parking can sometimes be a challenge since it's near the train station.
The staff are good and the sandwiches come out quick. 4 stars because the samm is too small and the "Primo" is too big. Also a bit pricey. A small sandwich, chips and a drink is like $12.
My reasoning for the 3 stars is because this is the 3rd time it’s happen where I ordered long hots on the side and it’s missing from my order.
Primos is my favorite sub place! Any sandwich on the menu is absolutely delicious! Dont forget about their desserts as well. Kind staff and helpful as well. A great place for lunch dinner or whenever you are hungry.
My rating is not based on the food, which is generally a good sandwich shop across all locations. My issue is over how the service was sub par.
I walked into an empty shop a little after 1: 30, reviewed the menu and placed my order for an Audiablo. The employees appeared to be going about their tasks in a relaxed way, probably because their lunchtime rush was over - no big deal. After I place my order, I went and sat to the side to watch TV while I waited. After a couple minutes, I snapped some photos to upload to Google (timestamp 1: 40).
A couple other customers come in and order. At 1: 52, I notice one of the other customers that came in after me got to sandwiches and was sitting down to eat one. I ask, what gives? "Oh well, yours is cooking now and takes a lil longer. We'll call your name when it's ready. " Fine. By 2: 02, I had enough waiting and go to check on it again. Oh, there it is, sitting in a bag on the table behind the counter.
Are you serious? Took over 20 minutes to make a sandwich and then when it's ready, you don't tell me even after I've had to check on it? !? Just.wow.
Sandwich was fine, but caked in onions. I like onions, but no one likes that many onions.
Tl; dr: call your order in ahead of time unless you don't have anywhere to be for the next hour or two.
People don't understand, corporate demans on the spot! Most places require 48 hours notice or more. Everyone should have to work restraunt or take out places! Food is great. Team is good! Corporate grow up! You're not the only one that needs this service. Try it for a month!
Good sandwich bread. It has some strength to it, and the fillings are all excellent. Staff are very nice too. Good place to pick up a take out hoagie. Much better than wawa.
