Sandwich Shop PrimoHoagies reviews
19This place deserves a better rating. Have gotten great catering and personal sandwiches from this location over the years. Best subs in town
Love this super friendly and sparkling clean spot! The new management is awesome! This Primos uses the freshest, quality ingredients. I love the Nonna’s Veggie hoagie.
Went on a Saturday around 11am maybe 3 people in the store. Ordered 2 small sandwiches paid and had to wait for over 20 mins. Multiple people came in and went also ordering at the counter not just picking up. Total disgrace that the front end can keep taking multiple orders but the back end cant deliver in an adequate manner with over 6 people making sandwiches. They were calling out names for orders ready but not one of them there to pick up or in the store. Last time i will ever go to that store. In all fairness the sandwiches were correctly made and were fresh.
Super good food! The new owner Dave is super nice and friendly. All the staff is really kind and quick at their job. Would definitely recommend. I’m definitely coming back!
David, the new owner, is a really nice guy and did an amazing job with my recent catering order. He was professional, responsive and prompt.and the hoagies were fantastic! I highly recommend PrimoHoagies in Phoenixville. Thank you, David!
Just had the most delicious chicken parmigiana sandwich!
Customer service was outstanding!
Great new manager, definitely will come back again. Sandwich order was quick, place looks cleaners and the smiles and greet at the front door are a welcome change.
First time back in months. Saw sign “new owners”. Wow what a difference clean, fast service with a smile. Definitely be back, love my Primo!
Ordered a hoagie tray at 10: 00 am and it was ready for me when I got there 30 minutes later!
Tried to order but instead got attitude and workers trying to confront me after I left. Avoid at all costs.
Ordered a turkey hoagie with provolone cheese but got American. Also ordered a mild sharp primo with oil. It also had American and mayo. Got the entire order wrong.
A guy named Will was running the show there on a Saturday all by himself did a great job!
Hope I tipped enough but.to the owner he did great.give that man a raise!
Last few orders have been wrong unfortunately. Ordered the bada bing which literally has 3 ingredients on it. The rabe was completely missing. My husband asked for a cheese swap and to add toppings and Both were also missed. For $14 this was ridiculous. How do you forget the rabe on a cutlet, rabe, and provolone sandwich? ! And seeing the latest reviews, the owner posts the exact same message every time. People should be compensated. Nothing will change except people will stop ordering from this location.
Recently moved to Phoenixville.and the 3 times I got sandwiches from here the chicken cutlets were burnt on the chicken diablo. Also they went really low on the buffalo cheese which is the main flavour source for the sandwich.
For a 14 dollar sandwich to be burnt is unacceptable. And you only realize it when you get back to your desk at work, so you can't do anything about it (other than leave this review).
The person making it knows they burnt the chicken and choose to use it to make the sandwich anyways instead of starting over. That's just unacceptable. You know you are taking my money and giving me an inedible sandwich on purpose. You wouldn't be able to eat it yourself. So why serve it to your paying customers, unless you don't really care?
As much as I love primos chicken diablos, I guess I can only get them when I'm driving around Paoli now since this location has wasted my money too many times.
2nd time I received a not so fresh roll, only two tomatoes on Primo size plus they were unripe green tomatoes so technically no tomatoes, thick slices of lunch meat, etc this location has gone down hill. Royersford Primos 1000x better.
Every time I call to place an order, the person who answers the phone says please hold but is actually hanging up the phone on me… so i’m not sure if these people know how to place someone on hold instead of hanging up on them… management or whoever is in charge should probably get that figured out.
We ordered two mild sharp Italians and literally it was just a couple crumbles of sharp cheese on it it was the stingiest amount of cheese you could put on a sandwich it was very disappointing.
Today I ordered the same sandwich from the royersford primos and it has a whole row of sharp cheese on it and it's significantly better very disappointed in phoenixville location and would probably not go back to there
Just had a horrible experience at the Phoenixville Primo hoagies. Got home and noticed that the order was wrong. When I called back the owner was very rude, offered to give me the missing toppings on the side, not make the sandwich again, and then was even more rude when I came in to get the order corrected. No apologies just asked me to take my sandwich and be on my way. Very poor business practice. So sad.

Response to the "owner":
I already filled out the feedback form and would love to hear back from the owner, but the rude man said he was the owner, so I doubt I'll hear back. Judging from the rash of negative reviews (most with similar complaints), nothing is being done to correct his poor attitude and horrible service.
This is the second time I've gotten trash from this location. They never have the right bread. If you get chicken it's always soggy. The lettuce is so wet that it ruins the already wrong bread so you get a cold soggy mess. These are franchise stores and clearly this owner wants to make even more profit by cutting corners. Avoid this store.
