Sandwich Shop PrimoHoagies reviews
18Do not get delivery! Two weeks ago ordered meatball sandwich. Got cold meatballs on cold bread and no saucy/ gravy. Made the mistake of giving a second chance. This time ordered the Nelli (roast pork) with extra gravy and no roasted peppers. Got refrigerator cold roast pork on an ice cold roll. No gravy but the peppers were there. I think their sandwiches are pre made and in both these cases staff didn’t bothered to read the order. Just think their advertising should state they DON’T DO HOT SANDWHICHES.
Such a great experience when i visit staff are always great and so pleasant. Highly recommend visiting this location
Very good Customer service, my food was ready within 15 mins of ordering and my hoagies were not just thrown together and a soggy mess, good quality sandwich.
I ordered the meatball primo asked for extra sauce didn’t receive the sandwich was cold and the meatballs were tiny for the size of the primo roll ever since they changed ownership quality has definitely gone done compared to other primo’s stores very sad.
Will not be eating there anymore will take the drive to somewhere else disappointed.
Very disappointed at the quality and portion of meat on my sandwich. I ordered the crusher with extra mayo and there was barely any on my sandwich, I had one whole shooter, the rest were just cut up peppers (the crusher comes with pepper shooters). I would nit recommend ir go there again. Hardly any Turkey in the sandwich, they used to pack them with plenty meat. Cost has gone up and quality has gone way down.
Last time I ordered the chicken parm it was not good, very chewy, disappointing. I thought I would give them another try and so I called to order and they told me it would be $45 extra to deliverthinking I misunderstood I kept repeating it back to the girl thinking she meant a minimum (which completely understandable), but no she actually meant $45 extra! We live 2 miles from this location. She told me just order through Uber eats, etc. You can't specify anything about your order from Uber eats so it's always messed up. We will never order from them again.
Parking is not great.ppl usually call in their order B4 they come to the store so you can be in and out. Staff is very nice. Food is awesome. Price of hogies went up because of COVID. But you can use your reward card and save
Do not go here and spend your money. My wife and I love primos and each time was a horrible experience. Chicken was stringy and overload topping and had to throw out. Go to the Springfield location.
They have a very good hoagie called the diablo Italian. If you like hot and spicy it's for you.
Just got my first hoagie ever and it was great!:) There was a worker there who was very friendly however I can’t remember his name. The workers should def have name tags!
Great people and we personally know the staff and love going back there because they are so friendly.
I think there is serious room for improvement here. Primos hits home for me because there was one on the corner of where I used to live. I recently tried a different location and I received a similar great experience. This location however, continues to miss. Customer service isn’t awful, but that’s not what I’m here for. Another thing I’m not here for is a diet - they skimp on every ingredient on their sandwiches here. Every primos I’ve had stuffs their sandwiches to the point it barely closes, big miss here for me. It also takes incredibly long for them to make these sandwiches with practically nothing on them. I’m not sure what they’re doing back there? At a different location it took 20 minutes for 7 sandwiches. This location took 30-40 minutes for 2 sandwiches. If you know what primos is supposed to be like, you’re disappointed when you get it from this location.
Hoagie beyond overpriced, with no where near the amount of meat I should have paid for, Horrible service, & very rude owner. I would highly suggest taking your business somewhere else these people are jokes
They have really good hoagies I love their sesame seed roll everything tastes good from Primos never a problem when I come here
I’D GIVE PRIMOHOAGIES, PROSPECT PARK, ZERO, NONE, 0 STARS IF I COULD! Spent $25- got a Primo, which is equivalent to a half a hoagie anywhere else, and a small, which was THE WORST. It was ripped, not cut apart, had the circumference of a child’s wrist, and 3 thin slices of meat, one piece of cheese, and looked like a dog’s dinner.
I called the following day and spoke to the RUDEST manager. She informed me it should be small- it’s MADE ON A KIDS’ ROLL!? !? !? When I said the roll being ripped open wasn’t the only issue- it was also the lack of sandwich innards, she continued to interrupt me. When I finally said, “Excuse me, please let me talk, ” She said, “ I AM NOT BEING RUDE TO YOU, SO DON’T BE RUDE TO ME! ” What?
I wasn’t being rude- but I did want to speak.
I promised her I will NEVER PATRONIZE PRIMO HOAGIES ANYWHERE, EVER, and I would write a review, so here it is.
If you want a good hoagie, go to ROMA DELI, and you won’t even be able to eat the whole sandwich, they are so bountiful and full. Oh, and they don’t use KIDS’ ROLLS.
The best primos is in south Philly the original one they hoagie are big and it’s good the people is always nice.not like the other primos where u only get 3 pieces of meat it’s a whole different experience when u go to the one on Ritner (in south Philly) you will never go to any other one and it’s worth the drive.you’ll thank me later
Overpriced.
Stopped by this hoagie shop with a coworker to grab a hoagie. Our usual hoagie shop is a bit further out and we didn’t want to make the commute. We should have.
We spent approximately $40 for two hoagies, one Primo and one Whole. The roll was a Wawa hoagie roll but seeded, hard and flavorless. The 2 or 3 slices of turkey (I kid you not) was flavorless and I could barely tell that I ordered it with lettuce because it was hiding in between the 2 or 3 slices of turkey.
I gave an extra star because the cashier was nice but I’m never coming here again. There’s much better options within 3 miles of this shop.
Best turkey hoagie I ever had. It would be nice to know how to use the awards system. Cashier didn't know how to explain it.
