Quality Community Health Care, Philadelphia PA

I am a provider and a client of Quality Community Health Care meaning I too see a medical provider at the facility. I am pleased by the location of the facility and ease. It is located right in the heart of where individuals need health care the most. We are located next to the pharmacy, shelter, and church. Our facilities has a dental office upstairs, we have a Lab in medical, and a behavioral health social worker. I am happy with the convenience and it’s potential. We are hoping to expand by adding multiple other providers such as a psychiatric provider, dermatology, pediatric, and additional medical providers. Give us time and Quality will be at its best.

The doctor office that was on old york road was wonderful but when they merge with the office on 25th and Lehigh I do not like it anymore. I am looking for a new doctor now.

They horrible and ignorant don’t go there they receptionist is rude and everyone is playing in there

This place never answer they phone and they are very unprofessional they need to get shut down by the better business beau

My primary doctor been changed three different times, they hardly answer the phone. Their professionalism is at a very low rate, seems like a bunch of young girls working there that play around a lot, The last thing you need to be doing is playing around the doctors office. Very on organized, when you go in all you hear is chatter and laughter all day

Very unprofessional! Some of the staff members have really nasty attitudes and seem to think that it is okay to say “duh” to a patient. Would NOT reccomend this office AT ALL! I called with a question about a test that I had gotten, and the phone call immediately turned disrespectful. Clearly their staff members don’t care too much about their patients.

I have been coming here for almost a year and can agree with other reviews that their customer service is very poor. The doctors are nice but the front desk and some nurses are questionable in their ability to care for patients. I try to be understanding because I work with customers as well and I don’t expect them to be chipper all the time, but I can’t help but notice their clear attitude when I’m being seen or have a question. Calling on the phone is the worse- I just wanted my records to be transferred to a new office and was kept on hold for 45 mins. I figured they were extremely busy so just hung up and called again a few hours later. After telling them I wanted my records transferred again, they told me I just needed to come in to sign papers. That’s fine but I wish they could have just told me that the first time instead of putting me on hold for almost an hour. I try to give them the benefit of the doubt because they are a busy office, but their attitude truly ruins the appearance of the office and experience.

Needed a prescription faxed over to my doctors and they gave me a big run around. A two day process turned into a weekly process. Each and every time I called they asked the same 5 questions as if they didn’t have just about all my information. There was no status updates. I’m still waiting for the pharmacy to receive the fax. Oh and worse part is after days of calling they started to reject my calls. Picking up, then hanging up so they wouldn’t have to deal with me. So unprofessional even down to how they pick up the phones. I’ve been very patient with them and their excuses but at this point, something should be done. Depending on these people for your health is definitely not the best idea!

I’ve been trying to talk to A doctor well over a week now this place is unprofessional, slow and they have no genuine concern for their patience. I’ll be finding a new pc doctor immediately.

Key to this place is a early morning appointment anything after 9am your gonna be their all day doctors and nurses are all nice never had a problem here

As a social worker, I find way that the staff treat the patients is inexcusable. I have been a patient at Quality Community Healthcare since I was an infant. I continued to be a patient at QCHC due to the convenience of location and evening office hours. However, over the years, the quality of the customer service and care that I have received has drastically become worse. When I call to schedule an appointment, the receptionists are extremely rude and unprofessional. As a result, I dread scheduling appointments and often do not schedule. Also, the staff is very unprofessional when I am in the office for an appointment. I have tried to be patient, but I have decided to switch to another primary care provider. Yet, there are other patients being serviced who are not fortunate to have the option to switch and should be treated with dignity and respect. I would advise anyone considering this practice to consider other practices if that's an option.

Staff were really nice and helpful. I usually don’t like getting my teeth cleaned because it can be uncomfortable or painful but I didn’t experience that here, they were very gentle. Usually cleanings take longer so I think they could’ve been a little more thorough. I’ll definitely come back here though, very happy.

This place is absolutely terrible and the wait time is unacceptable 3 hours is RIDICULOUS! Not to mention the staff is rude af I will never come back here again.

Had a dentist appointment and Dr. Nessa and the Hygienest were very nice! Was also seen in a timely fashion with minimal time delays.

My children been going there since thy were babies they are grown now ive never had a problem i love thet doctors office.

My father been coming here for years. This place has went downhill. They are not organized. They walk around laffing and chatting more than anything. We made an appointment at 9AM and didn't get out until 12PM. Made me late for work.

This is not the 1st. Only reason I chose to stay because it's convenient for my father. If it was up to me. I would of left years ago. What do you expect in this kind of area. A ghetto medical center in the ghetto. This place is the worst. If you can find something somewhere better take my advice and do it.

No wonder doctors keep leaving. My father been through 4 different main doctors already. Then they have these newbies who come in and you have to explain your whole medical history to them over and over again. Sorry, this place sucks.so believe the bad reviews.

As for filing a complaint. I'm sure many have done already and nothing still has changed. I'm really surprised this place is still open for business. No one and I mean no one should be in there for 3-4 hours waiting. I agree with other reviews.

I been coming there for years with my dad and from what I see it's too many people walking around laughing and talking instead of getting things done. And too many new faces for every appointment. We want one doctor that knows the patient. Not Everytime a patient shows up here comes a new nurse they have to explain their whole health history to. It's tiring.

Everytime my father comes here, here comes a new nurse that knows nothing about his health files. I'm tired of telling new nurses his issues. People want to deal with one doctor. Not have a NEW nurse or doctor every appointment. THIS PLACE NEEDS A MAJOR OVERHAUL

People making appointments at 8-9 AM and don't get out if there until 12- 1 PM. WE DO HAVE A LIFE. I never seen a medical center as this one. It's sad that a place like this exist in our community. I'm sure there will be many other bad reviews for years to come after mine. Everytime me and my father come we look at each other and say.watch how long we'll be in here. It never fails. SHAME ON YOU QUALITY HEALTH CARE FOR RUNNING A HEALTH CARE CENTER LIKE THIS.

TAKE MY ADVICE EVERYONE. FIND A BETTER PLACE FOR YOUR PARENTS. YOU BEEN WARNED!
