Queen Bee African hair braiding, Philadelphia PA

I went there to get knotless braids. She was ripping my hair out with the small styling comb. I here my ends ripping every time she combs. My hair was suppose to be $140 after I called than was charged $180. I said I didn’t want them long at all. Before I was done getting my hair done a girl sitting across from me was told a different price when they started than changed the price when they ended. I knew they were going to try that on me. The owner needs to get her business together very unprofessional. I’ve been there so many times. I’m done as a customer

The women who work here are so very sweet!
I called and respectfully communicated a hair situation I had and Z made it right!
She was extremely kind, sincere and understanding-
I really appreciated the consideration and thoughtfulness.
I don’t think people realize how hard these woman work; Not to mention how patient they have to be with all of the demands.

This was my first time going here and it was an amazing experience. I love the way my hair came out and it didn’t take long at all. Just be prepared to wait but the wait isn’t even that bad and honestly it seems like everyone works with out breaking that much so realistically they are amazing!

These people are very unprofessional. I called and even sent a picture of the style I wanted to one of the girls she said fine come in tomorrow. I took off of work I drove two hours to them once I got there one of the ladies asked what was I getting I told her I talk to this person I showed her the number & pictures she told me nobody was there that can do that style I was very disappointed all she keep saying was sorry Sorry I took off & drove two hours. I went to this place before with my sisters & even told other people about them & they do this so unprofessional I will never go here again & I’ll tell other people not to. Thats why so much stuff happens to them in that shop it’s bad karma, How they treat Good people Is horrible. Bad people will continue to go there & do them dirty because of their actions. Remember you do dirt you get dirt.

I got there @7: 33am I was the first person there. I originally wanted Z to braid my hair but she couldn’t because she had other appointments which is totally understandable. The first person who started my hair it wasn’t tight, I guess she didn’t think that I wouldn’t like the outcome of my hair but it wasn’t that it’s just I'm really picky when it comes to my hair, but overall Z came over and made sure that I was okay & her customer service was great. Also, the stylist Eva who did my knotless braids was great and she apologized to me for waiting so long. I just want to thank them for providing me with great customer service. I would also like to apologize to the first person who started my hair I think it was Z sister, I want to apologize to her for being so difficult. I will be returning.

Well this is the best shop hands down she slays all the time. I would definitely tell anyone they should go here. Her and her family are really nice people's.

I can never go here again. The stylist literally ripped out my hair. I had to take out the style in 2 weeks because it still wouldn't loosen up. When I took out the hair my front and side edges were extremely thin and where my middle part was starts is balding. I told the stylist it was too tight but she replied just hold it. I can't ever go back here again, and I used to always get my crochet braids done here.

Came in late, as a walk in to have my daughters hair done. One of the stylist stayed, and braided my daughters hair even though it was close to closing. My daughters hair was beautiful. The stylist in the shop were nice. And my daughters hair was finished in little over a hour. I would recommend anyone to try Queen Bee out for yourself. I had a great experience. And I will be returning.

I've been to a few braid shop and the experience is always the same. They don't speak with you, only with each other in their language.

Until I went to this salon. The stylist were very polite and friendly. There was another customer and 3 stylist, we all engaged in conversations from current event to the moving we were watching on Lifetime.

I highly recommend this shop if you're looking for a different experience.

I was greeted with a smile, was serviced right away, everyone was professional, prices were comparable and my braids look great! I will definitely be back.

I love this place very polite and Im very pleased with the way my hair came out because its short and also they did my hair in 5 hours when it usually takes any other shop 8 hours. I will be returning!

Wonderful broad shop! I called the morning before they was very accurate with there prices. She understood the style I wanted and did not do my hair too tight. Its a perfect feel of tighestnest and I'm tender headed. Very professional. I had 3 girls working on my hair and you can not tell. Excellent service! Clean and friendly shop! I would recommend them to anyone.

They cut and wash hair plus supplie it. They are noce and have tv to watch and prices are fair. And they do hair fast. I will be going for now on

Best braiding shop in Philly! They are so nice and I love my braids so much. I was nervous with short hair but they did an amazing job!

This was the worst experience I've ever had. It took almost 8 hours for a 3 hour style. They kept taking breaks every 20 minutes. They were so rude and nasty to me for no reason. The braids were so tight that my head started getting blisters 3 days later. I would never come back and hope I saved someone a loss of money going to this place!

They open on time. Very professional & kind staff. Plus my hair turned out great! Super easy to make an appointment. Did take awhile at times to get a text back but most of my questions were answered.
