Quick Drip IV, Pittsburgh PA

I have been a fan of Quick Drip for quite some time. They have reasonable prices, friendly staff, and do home visits.

I have been recently disappointed with the continued switching of booking system. The kicker is when online book doesn’t work you have a really hard time getting them on the phone.

I called and even had an assistant service call to see if was my phone or something. The continued changes to their systems make it hard for both staff and customers.

I have been using Quick Drip for roughly one year and I HIGHLY recommend. Danielle is the best! She is always super knowledgeable and helpful, especially if you’re hungover. Seriously life changing.

I decided to try out Quick Drip IV after two weeks on the road and coming home to a sick partner. I opted for the Immunity and added on a shot of Coq10. I ended up having to call to book the appointment because their online system was not working. I also could not access the prerequisite document portal before my appointment. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by a woman in a hoodie (it was freezing in there) who confirmed my appointment and showed me to the seating area. She did not tell me her name. There wasn’t any place to hang my coat. Danielle then came down, also dressed for the Arctic in a thick fleece. I let her know that I’m a hard stick. She missed on her first shot in my left arm and tried to dig some, so I stopped her. She was then able to access my right hand, not ideal, but OK. She did give me some complementary Zofran as the missed attempt and digging had me feeling quite flushed. There was no machine to run the IV wire through and control the flow, so the fluid was wide open, which I think was too fast for my small veins. The fluid going in was uncomfortable boarding on painful, which I think was partly due to the hand site and also Vitamin C. My forearm was especially cold where the fluid was going in. The girl who checked me in finally came to check on me with about 10 minutes to go and she did get me a blanket. She then got my Coq10 shot ready and removed my IV afterwards. She was a little shaky and sniffly, which was a bit concerning. Neither she or Danielle were wearing masks, even though they’re supposedly required.

A few more concerning things:
-No one looked at or questioned my medical history.
-No one gave explanation on the treatment I chose.
-There was a fridge with beverages and a TV, but neither were offered to me.
-It was incredibly cold in this establishment.

I ended up needing a nap when I got home. I haven’t noticed any awesome affects, but I didn’t catch my partner’s cold and I have noticed better healing and decreased inflammation.

Not sure if I’ll try this again.

I came here with 2 friends on Saturday to get the classic drip. I had one of the women stick me with a needle in my left arm, just to not get the vein. She gave me a bandaid for the bleeding and moved to my other arm, where she decided she’d try the top of my wrist. Again, she poked me and much more blood came out here, not to mention how bad it hurt in that location. Again it wasn’t good, and I asked her for a break. Meanwhile I watched her also poke my friend with the needle, just to not get it either. After waiting 10 min I decided to let the other woman try on me, really thinking they would have to get it on the 3rd try right? Nope. She poked my other arm and still couldn’t get it, so I said I was done. She even asked if I wanted to try a 4th time! At this point my friend somehow still let them try once more on her, and again they poked her and didn’t get it! Thankfully my other friend was able to get her IV on the first try so we sat waiting for her. When leaving, no one even apologized to us although now my friend and I have marks and bruises all over our arms. Worst experience ever, they really didn’t know what they were doing. I would have respected them saying they couldn’t do it rather than stabbing me with needles over and over with the same results. I guess this is why it was completely empty on a Saturday afternoon. I live in NYC and get drips regularly and have never been poked more than once so I know it’s not me… Also, my wrist hurt so unbelievably bad for about 24 hours. Stay away

This place has amazing service. I scheduled a home IV because I wasn’t doing well recovering from surgery. The person who came was incredible patient with me and did everything they could to make me feel comfortable. They always asked my permission before doing the next step and they genuinely cared about my opinion. I can’t recommend this enough, it’s not just for hungover people! It can really help in medical situations as well.

Danielle showed up right on time. Very professional. The toradol really helped an especially bad arthritis flare up. Felt so much better all around post IV. Highly recommend.

I tried this place 3 weeks ago because it looked interesting. The lounge space is very chill, and clean. The chairs are very comfy, and they had a German period drama playing on Netflix in the background which was pretty cool. I got to talk with the owners for a bit, and they were very friendly, and quite knowledgeable. I was a bit 'dehydrated' and it was hard to find my veins, but they had a vein light which helped a lot, and I was set up in a few minutes. The service was fast, and I felt great afterwards. I will definitely be returning! Keep up the strong work, and stay safe!

I had a great experience at Quick Drip! The staff was very knowledgeable and accomadting. Also I wanted to go with the most expensive drip however after explaining my needs they prompted me to a less expensive service insisting that it was the best fit for the outcome I was looking for. That really impressed me because it conveyed that they genuinely wanted me to receive the best service and outcome possible. 5 stars to your team. I will be back

Absolutely amazing service. I had a terrible hangover and they came to my house to do my IV. They came within the hour and hooked me up. I felt amazing within minutes. Extremely professional, easy to work with, and the results are incredible. I have recommended this place to just about everyone I know. Will be using again soon.

Love this place! The space is so cool and the location in Southside right on East Carson is so convenient. I was hungover and their classic IV helped me feel better immediately.

Recently on tuesday i had a tonsillectomy done.today is sunday-post op day 6.i have never felt such an excruciating pain in my life, not being able to swollow my own saliva let alone get water down my throat to take my medication.at this point my body was going into shock, not being able to eat or drink for 7 days straight now since the evening before my surgery.my surgeon recommended i go back to the hospital to get an iv drip to get some fluids in me that would hopefully make me feel somewhat better. 1 i couldn't leave my house or get out of bed and 2 i refused to go to the hospital to wait forever to just get an iv.i reached out to quick drop iv pittsburgh and they were at my house within the next hour to give me some fluids.the PA was absolutely amazing.she was kind, professional, and reassuring that everything was going to be alright.the whole process took about 1 hour after she properly explained to me what her steps were going to be, sanitizing, and trying to find a vein. (i was so dehydrated that it was very hard, near impossible to get an iv in) when she left, i took a nap and woke up not feeling 100% because no matter what, i'm still recovering, but i woke up feeling better than i have since the day of my surgery.altogether, i recommend this to anyone in need whether you're having a bad hangover or recovery from a surgery that doesn't allow you to get your fluids in.thank you guys with all of my heart for taking care of me so fast and efficiently.

I love this place! Clean, fast service and super knowledgeable staff! I was feeling down, and quick drip fixed me right up. I’ll be going back.

This place is absolutely amazing and the staff is so nice. After a long run outside on a hot day this place helped me feel as good as new. I will absolutely go back!

Super clean, very professional, and put the health and safety of everyone above all else especially with everything going on. 10/10 would recommend!
