R & J Electronics reviews
8Small electronics repair business on Simpson Ferry Road in Shiremanstown. Took my Bose Wave radio in for repair. One of the only local businesses that service Bose components. Waiting on a diagnosis and quote for repair.
Excellent workmanship and customer service. I'm a repeat customer. So far, these talented gentlemen have successfully repaired a Zoom H4N voice recorder, a vintage Sherwood amplifier and a vintage Dynaco Dynakit stereo. They definitely know their stuff, and their prices are reasonable. Expect old-fashioned, personal service. Stop in. Have a conversation. I will definitely come back for my electronics repair needs.
Have had many Tvs repaired, very respectful and reasonable cost, definitely will do business with in the future!
Took my Sony stereo receiver to have it fixed. It took about 6 weeks to get it back, which was under the estimated time. It works perfectly and it cost me exactly what he estimated. If you have something electronic that needs fixed, take it here.
I believe the owners know what they are doing, however, communication was an issue for me. When I brought my antique car radio in, they told me there was a $55.00 deposit required, so I paid them. I decided not to get it repaired after they told me how much it would cost. They would not give me back my deposit. I wish they would have told me, up-front, about their no-refund-policy, so I would have had the option. Kind of shady. Just saying, up-front is the best time to convey a no-refund policy with your customers. Moreover, you will gain trust with your customers and perhaps you’ll have even more. Good luck.
I called about a problem with a TV that needed a part, unfortunately I lost the remote. The gentleman that answered the phone was very helpful and respectful. I have not found the remote, so I cannot comment on the service.
I had an antique radio which had been passed down. I was going to throw it out after being told it wouldn’t be fixable, but took it to R and J on a whim. They had it operational in a few days and for FAR cheaper than anticipated
