Race Street Pier reviews
8Love this spot great place just to have a peace or mind to yourself. Also a great place for a run to read a book or just to get fabulous photos by the water.
Race street pier has some of the best views in the city. You get a unique view of the Ben Franklin Bridge over head while overlooking the Delaware River. Great place to relax, enjoy the views or have lunch. And it’s usually not that crowded.
Ideal location to spend an evening amidst cool breeze and eye catching river views and activities around you. All you need is to sit down/ lay down in the long benches provided and chill. The view of the overbridge is amazing and the sound arising out of sapta trains passing over will definitely attract your eyes. Beer garden just walkable. It's a treat to watch boats sailing in the Delaware river. Fishing is not allowed. It's a wonderful location to visit, after completing Franklin square, which is about 10 minutes walk. Will not regret having visited this location. Enjoy the evening.
Love it here. Nice place to come relax for a bit or read a book. My dog loves meeting other pups that come down for a walk.
A lot of space to stay socially distanced, good views, and ample seating. Don't think too much about it, just go for a walk.
Beautiful insta-friendly shots for tourists. Also highlights the need for action to solve hunger and homelessness in the city.
How can we be more involved in curbing the homelessness epidemic in Philadelphia? I was showing friends from over seas arround our beautiful city and they commented about the strides they have made in Manila to curb homelessness.
Our walk in the city, rather than highlighting out beauty and history, showed the juxtaposition of the extreme wealth inequality in our home town. Access to basic human rights like Healthcare, food, shelter are unavailable to the most vulnerable.
Great views of the bridge with some amazing photo opportunities. Plenty of space to socially distance. Walkable and bikable from Fishtown, Northern Liberties, Old City, Bella Vista, and more. There's also an Indego bike share station right there.
