Railroad Street Bar & Grill, Linfield PA

Went in for lunch with a buddy before our all nighter workin the upcoming snow storm. We sat at the bar and were greeted by two very nice bartenders. I had traditional bone in beesting flavored wings and the Big Beef and cheddar grilled sammich with fries. Everything came out in a timely fashion, hot, cooked perfectly and there was no shortage on the portions. This was only my second time at the Railroad and it was oh soo good. It's a little pricey but good food, atmosphere and service are worth the extra.

Unique foods and flavors found here. College BnG feel. Very relaxed, engaged staff. The St. LUCIFER mayo has great flavor and is an accent flavor on the deviled eggs, the "Worst" crabcake, which was amazing and the ST. LUCIFER burger

We stopped in on our way to Pennhurst Asylum haunted attraction, to grab a drink and a bite to eat. We were not sure what to expect but this spot has us all wanting to return. Bartenders were great. The service was decent, the food was so good. The owner was cool too, he and my cousin were chatting a lot and he gave us some stickers and a magnet which we put on our beermeister at home. We have decided next time we have an event out this way, we'll stop back to RR.

Fabulous grilled cheese! I had the lobster grilled cheese sandwich twice now! It may have been better than the first time!

Our first visit here after years of talking about it. We live about 25m away and just have not made it a priority destination until now. My wife and I try to do a Friday lunch date each week. Today we made it to Railroad Street. We have followed them on social for years so there were no surprises. Exactly as expected. A simple and authentic, weathered bar and grill atmosphere. We visited on a late Friday afternoon arriving at 4: 45p. By the time we left, the parking lot was 95% full. Very 'local' crowd, all easy going, mellow and enjoying the night. They built their menu around gourmet grilled cheese so I tried the Smoked Brisket Grilled Cheese with Coleslaw, Smoked Brisket, Smoked Gouda Cheese, and Spicy BBQ Sauce and it was excellent! My wife had a burger which she enjoyed as well. We started with the Railroad Sampler app.which included wings and breaded fried shrimp which were very good. Our server, Lauren, was terrific! They also have an excellent Craft Beer list of which I enjoyed three tasty IPA's. We will certainly return! Recommended

We love this place. But... We used to come for tater tots and they were discontinued. Then we came for the home made chips and they were discontinued. We would love to know why. Service is great and super friendly. Food is still yummy but we miss our faves.

We had a late night dinner and our waitress was wonderful! She had only been working there for a short time but she was rocking the job! Great personality, great service even though it was very busy.

Food and Waitress were absolutely phenomenal. Unfortunately the DOUCHE NOZZLE who manages the staff reprimanded his staff at the top of his lungs on the side of our table. YOU RUINED WHAT OTHERWISE WOULD HAVE BEEN AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE.

It takes effort to ruin a plain grilled cheese and french fries. The Texas Toast grilled cheese was as thin as a wrap and you seriously couldn't even chew the french fries they were so hard, old and cold. Who ever is making your food, needs a new profession. I will not come to eat at your facility anymore!

Have had a couple friends say I needed to got and get a grill cheese and a nice beer, I did and it didn't disappoint, if your in the area stop by it is worth it

Mike and his Crew at The RR do an amazing job at making everyone feel welcomed. The food is always on point with options for all. We like frequenting because of the option of eating indoors or out on the deck!

Called ahead to make a reservation and they said they don’t take reservations. I completely understand that, but when I got here with my family we were told to wait because a party called ahead and had reservations. The server was very kind and did a good job staying on top of our table. We sat down and I noticed immediately that there were crumbs on the table and the floor was very sticky. The food was only subpar. The wings were way over cooked and my husband ordered a burger done medium rare and it was done well. My kids enjoyed their burgers though.

Dave the bartender was fantastic. Greeted me as soon as I came in. Made me feel comfortable and recommended some great choices. I ended up choosing the Cajun Meatloaf Grilled Cheese that he recommended. It was delicious!

Customer service was great and so was the food!

I will be back!

I tried the tomato jam fries and they were good but too sweet I ordered the Buffalo chicken grilled cheese with ranch instead of blue cheese. First bite was like an out of body experience. I have never had a sandwich sooo good. The Buffalo and hot sauce is great incredible. I travel al the United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and the US Virgin Islands for work. I have eaten everywhere. Railroad Street Bar and Grill = best sandwich ever. I’d you are ever even close (within 100 miles) it is worth the trip. Don’t even get me started about the local beer choices

I'll be going back to check out the atmosphere since I only stopped in for take out. Seemed to be the normal laid back working class of people. The bar tender well she was sweet, helpful and I'm sure she. Unknowingly helps the business grow.
