Ralph's Barber Shop reviews
13Worst haircut of my life. I have a triangle cut out in the top of my head. What I requested was not difficult. I regret not doing it myself. The person who cut my hair at the end told me specifically I shouldn't ask for him again but someone else. The person who cut my hair had to stop and ask for help multiple times. Literally had to stop and have someone else do sections of the haircut. The moment I sat down I should've got up as I saw he was nervous, scared, and had no idea what he was doing. He needs to cut more practice hair before touching a real person's head. It's not right for him nor the customer.
Love Ralph and everyone that works there. Great environment and friendly people. Perfect neighborhood barber shop.
If i could give a review below one star, i would have.this was the SECOND time that I had used this companys services for a haircut and i am now certain that noone in this place knows how to cut hair.
The first time i will take blame for, as i had booked an appointment without doing my research, the individual there gave me a complete buzz cut and mangled my beard when all i had asked for was a short fade on the side and a inch off the top and beard.my fault, ill take blame. I had learned from this however and did some research the next time.
The second time that I visited, i had done my research and was able to book an appointment with the OWNER.you would think that the owner of a barbershop would know how to cut hair and LISTEN to what a client wants? Apparently not because same at the first time this man destroyed my hair leaving me with 2 massive bald spots on either side of my head. All that i had requested was the same as before but this mad man took it upon himself to destroy my hair by making me look like i had just gotten drafted into the marines and buzzing my head to the shortest that it had ever been. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A BARBER. NOONE THERE NOT EVEN THE OWNER KNOWS HOW TO CUT HAIR.
This barbershop never let me down. Ralph III is the best barber I had in years. I just happen to stumble on this barber shop when I move to Glenside. It was just down the street from the My weekly meeting. As a proprietor he’s always multitasking but it does not interfere with the quality of the haircuts I never did. Highly recommend it. And my partner goes are all the time. He’ll take anyone to put is hair But Peter looks good too if I could give 10 stars I would!
This has been my neighborhood goto for 30 years. Family business run by 3rd generation barber. Appointments are recommended as they can get pretty busy.
Today, I took my 6 year old for his 1st professional haircut in 3 years. Great cut, great experience, great price. He was scared before going but Greg was great with him. He ended up enjoying the experience and telling me he wants Greg to cut his hair the next time. Time to retire my scissors.
Great haircut by Theresa! She's friendly, cares for her customers, detail oriented, and just fantastic!
When I visit Ralphs it’s always the best part of the day. Great quality, and pleasant service.
Classic neighborhood barber shop! Great people, awesome barbers. An integral part of Glenside!
Be going to Ralph’s since the kids were little all in their 30 days now have never had an issue good people
I’ve lived in the area a few years and was so glad to find this barber shop. Every haircut I’ve had here is great. Call ahead; it’s worth the extra couple dollars to get on the list because it can get busy.
Great barber shop! I go and see Ralph III, he always does a great job. They do such a good job, that it can be hard to get an appointment for certain popular times or you might have to wait awhile as a walk-in, so be prepared.
Also, keep in mind that you can pay with credit card, but for most people you can't leave a tip on the card. So have a few bucks in cash with you!
