Ramada by Wyndham Pottsville/Frackville

Sketchy area of town! No place to park to check in or carry bags in as on a busy street with parking lot ACROSS the street. Very outdated building in general.looks to be possibly an old factory converted to a lackluster (also old) hotel! Staff and room were awful. Didn't have access to adjust room temperature and door deadbolt did not work and bathroom door wouldn't even fully shut. Carpet was disgusting. No breakfast was available and couldn't even ask staff in the morning as NO ONE was even at the front desk! After waiting behind another customer for more than 5 minutes to check-out, no staff came! So we just threw our keycard on the desk and got out of there! We should have boondocked in a Walmart parking lot for the night, not paid $159 to stay in that dump!

The Ramada in Pottsville Pa Was very HORRIBLE.everything was wrong from the front entrance smelling horrible to the room, bathroom everything. The staff was very nice and understanding I can definitely say that but I will never never stay here again

The Pottsville Ramada by Wyndham has an excellent staff. Both those behind the lobby desk and everyone in housekeeping were warm, caring and helpful. Shout out to Kathy, Gina, Victoria and Rebecca for going above and beyond. I truly wish I had everyone's name to commend them because throughout my month long stay, every employee I interacted with was professional, friendly and interested in my comfort. While the hotel is in dire need of an update, the staff and location can't be beat.

I found a meth pipe under my mattress.
Mold on the shower curtain.
Dirty washcloth hanging from the curtain rod.
The place stunk and was a horrible experience.

Cable TV didn’t work, ball/latch security on door was broken from what appeared to be a forced entry, sketchy character hanging around the lobby, parking is across the street in a surface lot, front desk attendant was generally indifferent at check in. Fitness center has lottery/slot machines in it, entire property smells like cigarette smoke…very strange experience

Smelled mold all over the place. Place reminded me of a jailhouse. It's way over priced for a hotel that doesn't have amenities to accommodate its price! Please avoid this place at all cost. Not children friendly at all!

Great people. Bed n pillows very comfortable. Parking and hotel location is inconvenient. And TV was small 32"? Would definitely stay again.

So listen, it's an old building in a town that has seen better days.but it's the only downtown hotel. It was gross, I just couldn't justify 5 stars. We stayed and I'd do it again if I couldn't find an AIR BnB

My crew and I have stayed at Ramada hotels before and they are nothing like this. Due to the price and location, this was our only option. In my haste to book the rooms, I didn't read the reviews. The rooms are in desperate need of updated renovations (from 1973 to 2023) and the housekeeping could be better. The young lady at the front desk was nice during check-in though. Overall it's a low-budget hotel representing an upscale brand.

Gross! Parking is across the street, room was disgusting, stickiness in the end table, furniture from someone’s grandmothers yard sale, some unidentifiable goo on the tv, no toilet paper, a lot of sniffles at the front desk, and all at non motel prices. If you have the choice sleep in your vehicle at least your tv/phone isn’t from 2003.

Read the reviews I made the mistake of not. They lady at the front desk was nice but other then that it was horrible and the room was dirty

Room smelled moldy, housekeeping did a poor job, left-over food in the mini fridge from previous guest. Internet is not secure so if you need a secure server forget it. Place is old and needs severe renovation. This is the ONLY major hotel chain in town so plan to stay somewhere else not close by. Oh yeah and they will slamm you card for your total stay as soon as you check in.good luck

I thought Ramada was an upscale hotel chain. Very outdated furniture, the TV was tiny and lower than the bed. The carpet in the room was ugly, the inside the hotel view felt very motel-ish. The sheets looked clean but smelled old. Everything about it was awful, throw the whole hotel away. The staff was pleasant and the only bright spot for real.

Bed was disgusting mold in the bathroom floors sticky employees yelling at people at 7 am it says breakfast but spoiled milk charged twice

Staff was very friendly at check in and check out but the room itself was dirty with food on the floor stains on the sheets and dirty wash cloths still in the bathroom the floor was so dirty I had to throw away my socks because they got so black from a total of about 3 hours I stayed in the room never been in a hotel that dirty before and I traveled alot I think this place needs an overhaul of new house keepers and housekeeping management if they can get away with selling rooms that dirty to people will definitely never go back to that hotel

Cool old building, recently remodeled in 1983. Stains, sticky floors. Sticky night stand!? Shower smells like the sock I hid under my bed when I was 12. Wake up call is 5am when the construction company next door starts using the dumpster outside your window. Great place for a drug deal or to cheat on your husband. Desk staff was nice. Price actually isn't that cheap considering it costs your dignity.
