This is the absolute BEST place to take injured PA wildlife! The owner and staff at Raven Ridge provide the best care for wildlife. 10/10 highly recommend.

Had found a pheasant that was hit by a car, and the animal hospitals i called recommended I reach out here. I am so glad I did! They responded so quickly and I was able to make sure that the little guy got the attention he needed. Tracie is a blessing!

These animal loving individuals are AMAZING! Make sure you call and listen to the entire voicemail, it will give you most of the information you need to decide what to do with an animal you have found.

Make sure to donate, if you can. To have an animal rescue like this in the area is priceless!

Thank you Raven Ridge for all you do for animals in our community

One of the few places in the area that would take an injured baby raccoon our son found. Tracie was prompt at responding, was able to accommodate immediately, and wanted to make sure we were safe as well (having found an animal that has the potential to be a vector for rabies). We were relieved to have found Raven Ridge. Thank you for the work you’re doing!

My son found a baby bird drowning in our neighbor's pool. I was so grateful that I could call Raven Ridge for help! They called me back right away, and I had the bird in their care in about an hour. It is such a relief to know that there is a local wildlife rehabilitation center who can help us care for the world around us with love and dignity.

A baby fox found its way to our garden center and I knew it needed medical attention. I called Raven Ridge Wildlife Center and they were quick to return my call and willing to take it. When I arrived, they were so friendly and I could tell that they really care about wildlife. So thankful they gave this baby fox a chance at a good life.

My mother found a duckling sitting on a rock and knew it needed help. Raven Wildlife called us back asap and asked no questions other than “Can you bring the duckling in this morning? ” Tracie met me at the drop off and was kind, compassionate and educated me on the many questions I asked about the Mallard duckling.

Her team care about all the creatures big and small even my lone mallard. I am so grateful for people and agencies like this! It’s a huge plus they are literally in our backyard in Lancaster! A short drive for them to help you in a situation when you find that animal in need.

As always these agencies need the donations, products or labor of their local community to keep them running. Please consider helping Raven Wildlife Center, they can’t do it without us!

One million percent recommend!

My friend found a bat in her apartment complex stairwell. She thought it was a baby and was completely clueless on what to do. It was 10: 30 at night and she did her best to secure it for the night. After calling Raven Ridge and getting more information they told her to bring the bat in. So she did, and upon arrival we were greeted with very warm welcomes. After peeking at the bat they let us know it was not a baby after all! It was a big brown bat! But still so tiny. They told us they would send it to a rescue and hopefully release it again soon! That it was probably only dehydrated. How wonderful. They had many animals there I could see while waiting, all being cared for. Clean cages and full bellies! The staff were very educated. I am so thankful to know they are there for my community! Thank you very much and thank you to everyone who supports them!

A sick baby raccoon wandered into our yard. Called Raven Ridge and their answering machine gave me clear directions to not handle or feed the animal and to get it into a warm, dark, secure location. They called me back quickly and I was able to drop the little guy off at their location.

Grateful to have a reputable wildlife rescue so close! Wishing the little guy a quick recovery.

I have had to bring some wildlife in myself and I work at a vet's office in the area, so I frequently direct Good Samaritans that find injured wildlife to call here as well. I can't say enough about how thorough, kind and compassionate they are. They have never turned away an injured animal once in the years I've known about them, which is quite a feat considering how swamped I'm sure they are. I had an injured mockingbird on my porch last night and they texted/coached me through caring for it until they were able to take him in during regular hours. Even though it ended up passing away, I'm always blown away by how much they care! Keep up the good work!
